zerat, there's people like you and I who have naturally high metabolisms. It's difficult for us to bulk up as we have to eat just that much more. If you eat almost constantly and work out, you should gain weight. Mind you it has to be healthy foods, not the delicious stuff.

lol healthy food can taste nice :)
well without creatine iv gained 5kgs (11lbs for the yanks) in 5months.
i may just presist with this and if i gain another 8-12lbs in 5months then i'll be pleased.
but i still want thoughts on the creatine

Seriously mate, apparently "we all have our natural shape" - which suggests you should always be skinny.
However, i was skinny as anything before i came to Uni, then i stopped the manual labour job i had and started drinking like a fish - i am now overweight. So eating/drinking the wrong stuff can and will make you larger.... as for your body shape - from the facebook photos iv seen your clearly not built to be big.
SO WHY THE FUCK DO YOU WANT TO BULK UP!?!?!?!?!?!
I wanna headbut every gym addict i see walking the street - your either ment to be built like a brick shithouse or your not - you shouldn't aspire to be a chunk if thats not your natural body shape.
Working out to an extent is fine,,, but beyond that is silly.
EDIT - i'm drunk as anything, my post clearly made no sense.

To bulk, you have to eat alot of food, "Healthy" whole foods (2x normal) and work out with heavy weights in shorter reps. You are eating more to fuel those muscles. Im talking heavy bench presses, cleans, inclines, flys, curls, heavy squats, do pyramids (burn outs)

Meal replacement shakes AND protein shakes. Creatine is ok but has alot of caffeine (or similar products) in it, which is a metabolism booster.
A friend of mine (as skinny as you like) has just put on 1 and a half stone in 2 months. He is 45 and has been 9 stone for 30 years LOL he is now ALMOST 11 stone.
Instead of REPLACING meals with the shakes he had them as snacks in
between his regular meals!

Those are some steady gains bro, don't worry yourself too much on it. Although often times pricey, there are some great supplements out there. Don't fall into the trap of bigger $$=better supplements. You buy some expensive packaging sometimes. More to follow on that

True enough. What this cat is looking for is all out hypertrophy. So many training programs out there, there is no fool proof method and different people have different opinions on what work, but this isn't the thread for that arguement.

Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to muscle.
Straight from wiki. Creatine has nothing to do with caffiene besides the fact they are organic in compostion.
Now, back on topic. Creatine is such a wide subject, it's hard to answer your question. First on the list, creatine monohydrate. It's great in the fact that if you go to supp shop, its your best bang for your buck in the sense it's the purest by weight. Some people suggest a loading phase, followed by a more leveled off regular phase, the first with a higher dose each day to saturate muscles then the later phase at a lower dose to keep muscles full of creatine. One concern is "water weightgain" which is just the fact the your muscles are swelling with water. Downside, Creatine mono isn't readily absorbed by your body.
Creatine ethyl ester. Slight chemical compostion difference, which allows your body to absorb it more easily. This stuff is needed in lower doses, and skips the loading phase.
Then you have Creatine Kre-Alkaline. Too scientific for me, read up yourself. Often seen as Purple-K.
I have work in the morning, so I'm gonna cut this short. any more questions, let me know.

yea zerat...ive taken creatines and proteins
creatine has nothing to do with bulking up if thats what you want
creatine does make you stronger and youll get more out of your muscles, the only weight youll gain from creatine is some extra water in the muscles
but with more strength you should see bigger muscle gains
as for creatine being dangerous, youll need to drink about 1 gallon of water a day, your muscles are taking in more water and your body needs more water
if you dont drink water, then of course your body will dehydrate and thats were the liver damage could come in...but a gallon a day isnt that much.
id reccomend protein with your creatine,as i was reccomended, you will see a big muscle gain.ONLY take creatine if you plan on really working out,if you dont your gonna just gain a bunch of useless weight.
fuck all the skinny for life bullshit,if you want more muscle get that shit done.if your gains slow down...try proteins, then after a few months if your still serious about getting bigger AND STRONGER id recomend creatine, youll feel the strength, dont be cheap either.get the high quality products.:bong:

I ve taken creatine in the past..when u take creatine and drink lots of water it stores those water inside ur muscle cell and increases the volume and it gives energy..Trust me u will be lifting a bit heavier after....It does help u bulk up but I dont recommend it..Once u stop taking it and dont work out u will lose all that muscle so quick u wont know what happened...IT just makes u look bigger..I prefer to workout and take alot of proteins..mostly from food rather than shakes and protein bars..
will it kill you? i have had a friend who had side effect as stomache and getting dizzy but i didnt have any problem myself...
Make sure to drink lots and lots of water..

Creatine has a different purpose to that of protein. In lay mans terms it helps you lift more when you go to the gym. You can get creatine in natural foods (usually meat) however this is limited. Whikst it would be enough for most those looking to get bug quick will benefit from creatine. Take it 20mins before your workout on a daily basis and you will feel more energised and you'll be able to lift more weight over the coming months.
Whilst creatine doesn't kill I do advise taking protein shakes after your workout also to help your muscles repair from such a heavy workout.
Edit: Meh, fuck it, Monster already wrote all this!
Read then post Andy, read then post.

My husband drank that stuff, and he got chubby....but mind you, his work out was just running around at his job. I guess if you used it properly it would work wonders, I have seen it work on body builders alot. The gas is unbearable with my hubby though.

The Official Website of Kre-AlkalynŽ (http://www.kre-alkalyn.net/)
best out there, not this brand only but any that is Kre-alkalyn. There are tons of makers out there now that make this and all are made the same so the cheaper is just as good as the most expensive.
problem with creatine is that if your kidneya are not working at 100%, it builds up and you dont eliminate it properly and can lead to further injury to your kidneys. Now this is for the powdered creatine not the kre-alkalyn which comes in pill form.
Kre-alkalyn is time released and is manufactured to resist the acids of your stomach so your muscles can uptake and be used properly.
powdered creatine cannot resist stomach acid thus most of it doesnt go to the muscle and ends up in your kidneys, big time, and eliminated when you visit the can, thus some people definitely cannot tolerate it, get stomach aches and shit like mad.
Now dont get me wrong, powdered works in high doses, but gives you a puffy look because of the water weight it produces, you hold more water witj it.
kre-alkalyn doesnt create puffy because it is released all day into your muscles and the actual product uptakes, not creatine by product, from the powder.
with both though, you do need tons of water as everyone else has mentioned, at least a gallon throughout the day, not in a few hours daily. The purpose is to be able to flush it out of your kidneys easier with little side effect. This is where kre-alkalyn beats it as well, you stay hydrated, flush gently all day, and the actual product goes to your muscle and does its thing, not mostly by product like the powder.
Just to let you know, the byproduct of creatine is creatinine which you can read up on as well and thats the harmful byproduct that harms the kidneys if not flushed properly. Both forms byproduct is the same but kre-alkalyn is cleaner, thus less byproduct.
Ive used both.......powdered= stomach ache and shits for me
kre-alkalyn= awesome
protein 1-1.5 mg per kg your weight 30 mins before workout and immediately following as you have a 45 min window for optimal uptake to muscles with most proteins, like whey.
Nutrishop | Sports Nutrition & Weight Loss Superstores (http://www.nutrishopusa.com/)
recommend a combo protein such as nu-tek pro5......search and look up at the site. its lactose free, so nice on the stomach, you actually get the whole 5 pounds with a full container, not the half full "product settles with packaging" shit, and decent price.
sorry long winded but hope this helps along with what others have posted.
