Detroit RedWings beat the Chicago Blackhaws (4-1)

No longer nicknamed the windy city, now just refered to the city that blows.

Pittsburg Penguins beat the Carolina Hurricanes (4-0)

Both teams are suffering injuries to thier line-up, Its going to be a tight series but I say the wings are going to take it in 5 games.

We need something to boost our states moral.

Discuss.

I ment its going to be a tight in the score sense but with the redwings experience with winning the cup they will prevail over the penguins.

Hockey is always tight decided by a score or 2

...they're from detroit...:haha:

whoever wins it will win it in no less than 6 games. if detroit doesn't get it in 6 then they won't get it at all.

i gotta vote penguins though

my little brother supports them, and they think they are the best team ever, when really they just play in the worst division ever :bleh:

The Wings just have too much overall experience and strength, it's showing again.
Too bad really, not much of a competition at this point.
By the look of things, could easily be a sweep or done in 5.

Detroit dont think they are the best ever, they are pretty damn close to the best ever as stats and records will show.

Doesnt matter what division they are in, if they are not good enough they wouldnt make it to the finals let alone win so hero your post doesnt make alot of sense.

Doesnt matter who retires or leaves Detroit, they always have great replcement players, example aplkader, whom is in for the injured dhyatsuk, that scored his first two nhl goals in the stanley cup finals.....enough said

Detroit is just proving to strong and penguins are reverting back to their tactics of last year, when they are losing, they try the rough stuff and still cannot deter Detroit......enough said

Not sure of sweep but if we take the first game in pitt, i think it will be, oh and watch the vid, it says it all.
