Trent Reznor stated NiN are currently on their final tour and I was able to see them one final time last night, they put on a great show as usual. Robin Finck is definitely the best guitarist that has toured with NiN. I don't understand why NiN was the headline act and they played 2nd with Jane's Addiction closing, but whatever it was a great concert.

It comes as no surprise that a lot of people have no idea who NIN is despite their longevity. NIN formed in the late 80's and was the band that shaped the Industrial genre making it what it is today. Trent Reznor is one of the most creative artists ever and cares about his fans, he is very active on the NIN website. I paid $10 for my ticket last night, you're hard pressed to find a bargain like that with many other artists. I checked on prices for Aerosmith tickets where I watched NIN and they costed $50 each. One more unique fact is that NIN is Trent Reznor and Trent Reznor alone, he hires people to tour with him on a yearly basis. Robin Finck was great live! I forgive him for leaving GNR.

That's crazy i didn't know it was Trent Reznor alone... that makes sense to me now though i remember seeing Dave Navarro(i hope i spelled that right) of Jane's Addiction playing with him once...

You're not alone, a lot of people had no idea that is how NIN operated. It's a pretty similar concept to Rob Zombie, and how he operates since he went solo. Rob Zombie hires a band to record his album and tour, Trent records everything on his albums solo with no other musicians unless otherwise noted in the credits, and hires musicians to tour with him.

man that had to be a great show, practically grew up to his music, I doubt as well it will be last show, but it could be, Reznor is not one to play those "hollowood" games, now if we could just get Primus back together

Trent Reznor has toured for nearly 20 years, he is due for a long break. I could see him touring 5-10 years down the road, nothing in the immediate future.

I saw Cheech and Chong a few months ago. I could die now. That's my 50,000th concert...

But NIN would be awesome to see live, with the Road band and everything. Just as long as they play old shit, I heard they weren't doing that on Howard Stern. I dunno though.

DON'T BUY SHIT FROM TICKETMASTER OR LIVE NATION!!! They charge you 15 bucks per ticket on top of the 40-50 for the ticket...print it at home if you need to, because they now charge another 10 bucks to send it, and even more to hold it @ the box office. So just go to the Box Office and buy them, it's fucking worth it.

When is this tour ending?

Chiizu, nice Pic. THEY LIVE!

Ozzy is definitely, and AC/DC is mostly 80s. Depending on which songs you like. Ozzy didn't leave (get booted from) Black Sabbath and was replaced by Dio until I believe 1978...hold on let me grab the box set and look....yep it was 1978 after 'Never Say Die'...a terrible album.

Anyways, even though ACDC was formed in the 70s, they didn't get big until the 80s, especially in the states.

Not trying to down ya, I'm just a 'technically' freak.

Ozzy Rules!

END!

I like Black Sabbath (1968-1972) better than Ozzy...as a guitar player, I can truly appreciate their guitar player, Tony Iommi, who had no fingertips after an factory accident @ age 17. Any pioneer of Metal guitar riffs, who is just as influential as Jimmy Page, and gets their fucking finger tips cut off, has my respect.

How can you compare 4 years/couple of albums of music over an entire 3 decades of music from Ozzy?
I know an opinion and all but damn lol.

Black Sabbath is the pioneer of metal, clasic riffs, no doubt.
But Ozzy made Sabbath the frenzy it was.

You as a guitar player like myself, (don't know how long you been playing) but I been playing for about 25 years now.

Tony, with no question is an guitar riff icon but that's all he was, a riff master.
He could not play that fret board as a skilled masterpiece. Note for note can easily be played.
All The guitarists Ozzy had were way better then Tony skilled wise and could manipulate a fret board.

Ozzy in my opinion created a lot more rememorable songs and accomplished way more on his own.
Ozzy is more musically diversified then Sabbath.

Long Live Metal! :)
