Moto GP

so i hadnt actually intended on watching it, to be honest i switched on a little early for the tennis but the last few laps of the Moto GP was on. It was the Spanish GP from the catalyuna (sp) circuit and the last few laps were great with valtentino rossi (ive heard of him) and some spanish chappy (on the same bike), lots of over-taking, riders so close they were touching at times and with the great camera angles you felt like you were right in on the action.

So basically this seems much better than most of the grand prix motor car type racing ive seen where a lot of the time the races are won and lost in the pits. Are they usually as good as this or was this an exception? Rossi is the star, it seems, and he and second place rider were driving a fiat yamaha (i didnt think they were the same company but they were both on the side of the bike), are they dominant??

ok yesterdays race was crazy those last few laps wow ,but to your question you do gety a lot of close overtaking and i would say you get more overtaking in 1 lap than you do a whole race in the gp for cars .

also the 2 guys are team mates believe it or not lol

I saw the end of the 125cc race earlier yesterday. One poor bloke thought he had won and started celebrating, but there was still one lap to go. Then he thought he had at least got a place on the podium, but it was terribly close and he ended up 4th.

I didn't see your race, Jen and I'm interrupting but I did feel for this bloke.

i heard about that, but hadnt seen the video, thanks carol..... he must be really kicking himself.... i guess its pretty hard to see the pit board when youre flying past at 100(ish) mph!
