What are your thoughts on this movie? I thought it was ok, but it did not even come close to matching the 3 previous movies. Terminator 2 was the best by far, Terminator 1 was really good, and the 3rd was ok. Christian Bale failed hard in the role of John Connor and the concept of past actions accelerating the future in every Terminator movie after the 1st has really become old and stale. I did like how they used CG technology to use Arnold's face from the 1st movie on that other Austrian body builder's body as the Model 101 in a brief appearance towards the end of the movie.

I too was really disappointed in this movie, I expected much more. I didn't think the acting was to bad. I think I'll only buy it if theres a much longer version of a directors cut when it hits dvd.

Everyone on another forum i am a member of, disagreed with me when i said i didn't think this would measure upto the first 2, i think the terminator series should stop being milked and left with some sort of pride before it becomes a joke.

it wasnt great..... but i wasnt expecting it to be (which is quite telling, jesse youre right.... time to leave it alone now)

because my expectations were low for terminator i was actually MORE disappointed with transformers, which i thought was going to be awesome....but really, really wasnt :(

Do you want someone to tell you that or be truthful with you?

My review: a waste of $27. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good enough to justify going to the theater when it came out instead of watching it for free online.

Only add some nachos and cheese to that and it's about right.

And that's not including the money I spent bringing someone along with me. Nobody likes to go to the movies alone.

i spent £3.50 (notice the real currency ;)) going to see it and for that money it was worth it. it kept me entertained for however long it went on for and was better than the nothing i would have done otherwise.

doesn't compare to the other terminators though, Jesse was right it should have been left (Y)

Everyone is too judgemental I think when it comes to ongoing series, lol.
Sometimes ya have to watch a movie for what it delivers rather then a saga.
The movie was a good action flic.
