It's time we talked about the very important subject of Sandwich Construction. A lot of people out there seem to like to slap a sandwich together any haphazard way, but this just will not do for me. So are you a sloppy sandwicher, or do you have a method?

My sandwich construction goes as follows:

1. bottom bread gets mustard, always

2. meat goes on the mustardy bottom bread, always.

3. cheese goes on the other side of the meat, always. there are no exceptions to rules 1-3.

4. after the cheese goes the smaller vegetative toppings, onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc.

5. after the smaller topping I will put sauce if there is sauce, ketchup and relish if you're into that kind of thing. I like my sauces to mix and mingle with the smaller vegetative toppings. It's a party.

6. next is tomatoe slices (on a side note, people who don't know how to slice a tomatoe make me sick.) than lettuce, lettuce is pretty much optional and just there for looks.

7. mayo goes on the top bread, next to the veggies. always. mayo and veggies just go together like meat and mustard. my thoughts...

8. cut the sandwich, diagonal or horizontal depending on how I feel, I like to mix it up sometimes :P

If somebody serves me a sandwich that is not up to code, I seriously will take it apart and put it back together.

So how do you like to do it?

steamed hot Pastrami sandwiches: slowly steam the pastrami on like a french bread roll, Mustard pickles and hot peppers on the side with Auju for dipping!

Steak sandwiches: 1/2 inch steak serloin: garlic toast Letteces tomatoes Table pepper shaking over the tomatoe; steak cooked med and tender.

1-3 is good..

after the cheese comes more meat then the tomato then more meat then the other sauce on top... the tomato cannot touch the bread and make it soggy...

good bread to start then you put a thin layer of brown mustard
then you put a layer of roast beef make sure to roll up each slice or accordian so its not just flat meat on the sanwich cause that looks like shit
a layer of chedder
a layer of turkey also rolled up
a layer of provolone or swiss or some other kind of cheese
then you can add vegatables
i prefer tomato, lettuce, cucumber, and avacodo
then the last slice of bread mayo is optional
then cut diagnally always cut diagnally
