Anti-Spam System

Ok, since this cancer is seemingly spreading again and the mods arent keeping up, here is a novel system lay out idea that would be a much more effective way of combating the ridiculous spamming morons that are currently running around typing shit.

"Clean sweeps" is just a term for spamming lots of threads at once, dont even try to make the point of what if there is just alot of interesting threads i want to reply to at once, because we both know you contribute nothing of value to those threads. Of course, mod discretion on a sweep by sweep basis, but punishments should be as follows:

1.) First time offence - 12 Point Infraction, as those of us who know the infraction system are aware, this will trigger a one week ban.

2.) Second time offence - One Month Ban - Lets be honest, spammers are not the slightest bit deterred by a one week ban (i'd know, right?) its time you start slapping second time offenders with something more then just another one week ban.

3.) Third time offence - Permaban - Length of time they have to serve to be determined by what they done.

Thread Spamming, the system in place now doesnt work, i think yous should handle thread spamming differently to other sorts of offences, of course, im talking bout the one word replies, the smiley replies etc, now i'll run through what should be classed as spamming and what should be done:

1.) Smiley replies - Are fucking idiotic, if you have nothing to contribute in words, dont just use a smiley, DONT contribute, smilies stopped being funny ages ago.

1.A) First Time Offence - 12 Point Infraction - One Week Ban

1.A2) Second Time Offence - One Month Ban

1.A3) Third Time Offence - Permaban

1.B) Bubble Smilies - First Time Offence - 2 x 12 Point Infractions - 2 Week Ban, they are fucking BUBBLES you idiots, what are yous, 5?

2.) One word replies - (Exception - Comedy thread games) If a thread requires your input that badly that you feel you have to reply, make up a decent reply or dont fucking reply. Punishments the same as smiley replies.

Of course, nobody will care the slightest bit about this, just decided to vent about the lack of punishment for the current generation of spammers when if i done anything like them, i'd have been infracted. ;)

I broke the forum with an SB flood, different thing altogether. Also, it should be noted, i asked a mod present to stop you muppets spamming, he did nothing, so i did it for him. :)

I've just thought about doing a complete prune of anyone that continues to do the bullshit I've seen so far. Do it and lose all your posts. Keep doing it, then I prune the posts and permaban. All it takes is a quick trip to the admin panel to do it. Call it the administrative version of a "clean sweep."
