If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why are there still monkeys and apes?

these modern monkeys and apes evolved from lower species of mammals while we were evolving from the monkeys and apes of the past. :dunno:

Those were the stoned monkeys and apes, as evidenced by the fact that they fling shit at each other for laughs.

nah, it's highly unlikely that humans evolved from apes. It is more logical to assume that primates were used as genetic stock by the nefilim to make human hybrids via genetic manipulation. That's would explain why we share so much DNA with the apes.

Interesting... tell me more

The amount of primate life sustainable by the forest could have been reached and humans evolved from apes that were forced to adapt to a different habitat, or the forests in a certain area could have been destroyed with a large number of primates surviving and we could have evolved from them.

...or we could have evolved from fish :O :| :S

or, this is a more plausible theory, perhaps we are aliens, sent here from our home planet/s to one day fully reliese our potential and own the universe? :D

The universe as we know it is a toy sat in an Alien kids bedroom that he plays with/watches grow and develop, a bit like Sim City.

lmao.. we are one huge experiment for some spotty alien teenagers amusement.

shit I gotta stop thinking my head hurts.

being 'aliens' is just a matter of perspective. you think E.T. called himself an alien?

If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why are there still monkeys and apes?

And why did Charlton Heston and Mark Walbergh ended up in the Planet of the Apes?
