I have, and thought it was fantastic. The threesome had some believable conversations and were hilarious. They didn't seem like they were reciting lines or anything like that, just talking, unlike the first few movies. There was some bit of action, not as much as I'd like to have seen, but what can you do. Two or three qualms I have with the movie, I'm going to try and put them in spoiler things...
What the hell was up with the Death Eaters burning down the Burrow? Seems David Yates and Steve Kloves were bored with their own movie and decided to put this little scene in the movie. That or they like blowing stuff up, and I can relate to that. Just seemed a little odd seeing as they completely made up a scene.
I wasn't a fan of how Ginny was involved with Harry so much in the beginning. There was almost an air of an affair since Ginny was supposed to be going out with Dean Thomas. Also, Ginny needs to have some more pizzazz or something. She seems a bit boring in the movies, and really sassy in the books. Not hard to change, just say her lines in a different tone. (Also, Snape could've showed a bit more emotion at the end when revealing he was the H-BP)
Speaking of Snape and the end, how boring?!? Thought it was really weird that Snape presented himself to Harry and didn't burst in and kill Dumbledore. Thought that part was lame. Also that Harry and DD just Apparated into the castle at the end, but I can understand that (not shooting a different set and whatnot). Also not having a big fight at the end was super lame, but I did read that way back in June '08 (when they were filming) Yates said he didn't want to have two Hogwarts battle scenes. So I'm already stoked for a movie coming out in two years to see this.
Hopefully I did all this right. This is like the longest post in the history of me posting (and that's saying something). Interested what others thought about film, and nothing to do with the book. I'm too engrossed in the whole story to look at the film from a purely movie angle. I know a bunch of papers have given it 3 - 3 1/2 stars. I'd give it 4. Best of the 6, but that could be b/c it is my favorite book too.
