step one im wiling to admit i have problem
hi my name is jon and im addicted to nasal spray
no really a serious thing here i cant breathe through my nose without it has anyone else had this problem with afrin it is horrible

ephedrine i dont think there are such sprays you probly mean epinephrine, but no it oxymetazoline

Nasal spray's are not addicting, you might think addicted you are but your not. They constrict the blood vessel in the nasal passage making it easier to breath when you have congestion from a cold. After awhile of use your nasal membranes become tolerant to the effects of the medicine in the spray making you think you need more spray. If you really do have dry nasal membranes or sinus congestion get a saline nasal spray and/or sinus flush. I just use a saline spray called Ocean that I buy at Wal-mart. You can get some info on their products here Fleming Pharmaceuticals - Home (http://flemingpharma.com/) If your OCD you probably don't need it at all and you've likely just made it part of your OCD habits.

after reading some stuff on the internet i have found that slowly diluting it with the saline is the easiest way to get off it without severe congestion for a week
