View Full Version : Applesauce Glaze on Pork Chops

Phenomenal. Made it tonight and the Pork Chops were great.
4 Chops
1 cup Applesauce
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp salt/pepper
1 Tbsp BBQ sauce
1 Tbsp Wortcheshire sauce
1 clove of garlic; minced
Oven 325, mix all but the pork chops
Pour over chops in a 13 x 9 with cooking spray in the bottom.
Cook for an hour or until meat is 165 degrees.

om nom nom nom!!! sounds great...i will try that monday night!!! i however like to eat my chops medium these days so i may reduce cooking time a bit...

yes costco has a double cut prok chop they are soo good 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick can stuff them or just eat them like steak mmmmm

that sounds too tasty~try slicing apples and sauteing them onto each side of the chops and then covering them with the mixture~or stuffing them with sliced apples~yummy!

No no no..... Best way to eat pork chops, is to cook them normally, when cooked cover the tops in apple sauce and then place over them a slice of a good cheese, pu back into cook for 2 minutes! Lovely jubbly

Cook it how you want.
+ Roast Potatoes, 2 Veg, Thick Gravy made with the frying juices... and most importantly, English Mustard and Stewed Apple on the side of your plate.
Dip, mix and enjoy to your hearts content! :angel:
