well it's a long story and I made some bad decision, but it's not totally my fault... well... kinda...

I was fighting in an underground MMA circuit and the guy I was fighting kinda died... They first gave me Murder1, but when a copy of the tape got sent to the police they couldn't get me on murder so they dropped it to Manslaughter which carries time also... I finally got they to drop my bail to $250,000 which I had to pay ten percent of that to get out... I have trial ironically on my birthday next year, fun for me huh...

well he said it was underground circuit so that means it was not sanctioned by any governing body and without that it is essentially the same as a street fight and subject to normal law even with disclaimers

MMA is banned in Ontario so only way to get around similar issues it is to have fights on reserves

actually, i'm sure these fights are documented and i'm also sure that with a bit of searching, they're probly not too hard to find. i highly doubt the people that put the fights together have a site to boast what they've done, but damn, anybody with a cell phone these days can watch/record these fights, and post them on the net for all to see. if you went from murder1 to manslaughter, this case is probly documented in some form. i don't know you, but if it was an agreed upon fight, and you both know you assumed a risk, there probly should be some compassion for you plight...just my opinion at 5 am when i need to be in bed...
