I made hot sauce tonight. I have a Habanero plant that has been growing, and producing all summer. I've made plenty of hot sauce and salsa with the peppers at the restaurant I work at. No work for me today so I decided to make a Habanero & Garlic hot sauce. I kept gloves on the entire time I was cutting and preparing this sauce. I was not exactly ready for the fumes that came from my kitchen. (i boiled the peppers in vinegar) Not only did it wake my Julie up, it had us both coughing and eyes watering for 30 minutes. The final product is done, and I hope it tastes great. Jason aka 13 will be having a bottle delivered to his home in the next week. Maybe a second opinion will let me know if it was worth the pain. :haha:

wtf...i DEMAND A BOTTLE BITCH!.
Resas brother and wife came over last night with some jalapeno peppers and cream cheese with the hope i would stuff em...i thought sod that and started eating the peppers raw...fantastic...up untill the seeds really let the flavor out...still good but damn its sore lol.

Love hot sauce we used to boil the peppers in a bottle of franks at my restraunt untill it was reduced by half so that is 3.79 liters boiled to about 2 liters we used habanero, scotch bonnets and some good old jalapenos. We used to add a couple drops of Capsicum
but too many complaints of the hot factor so we quiet using it.
Now with you talking about adding some garlic that has my taste buds tingling i am gonna give that a try nothing like fresh garlic :)
My favorite dish using it is the chicken club:
get some butter milk panko crumbs,egg and flour (seasoned)
pound the check semi flat basically just till it is even thickness
coat in flour dip in egg and genrously coat in panko crumbs
dip back in egg and coat once more in panko
you can flash fry in the deep fryer and finish in oven or just fully cook in fryer.
after it is fully cooked toss in the hot sauce couple strips of bacon and melted jalapeno havarti over top stuff between a nice fresh Portuguese bun and their you have it
