Well since we started to help each other i figured we could start discussing few of the most popular strats here in OT..

I ll start with B games Junkie strat..
i will try to put as much as i know or remember, then others can add on to it and we can discuss different styles of playing it

Lets go with a basic no labs Junkie strat for B rooms

there are different ways dopewars members play this strat..
Its a common knowledge that its possibly one of the strongest winning strat especially when played as a team it gets the job done...
Look at the past gold winners...Pink Legions,Hostile Takeover,Gay Llamas,Red Tampons..95% of their winnings are on this strong strat...
So what is this strat about

So we all know we get 120 tokens each day..each junkie needs 1 token to recruit
each junkie needs 1 drug..so you will need to keep your coat full so you dont put your junkies in training
A junkie in training brings no income and it can cause huge worth loss everytime u put junkies in training
And lastly it takes 50 tokens for each junkie to come out of training...

A good start for this strat would be to get 24k coat,4000 shakes and with rest of your cash full your drug coat as much as you can..
After start using your tokens on junkies...Some of the most important things playing this strat is to stay off of MM and MWJ records..
both will get you gunned down
so always make sure you have 200% stamina and not on records page before logging off...

A strong way of playing this strat is to login atleast twice a day first 2 weeks...The more you can play the higher you stay above gunners..
Dont forget Junkie strat starts slowly..at the beginning most of your worth comes from junkies so dont let it fool you..you could be above a gunner in worth
and he could still hunt you and hurt you

All cash on 2 things at the beginning...Vests and shakes...until pimp credits are as low as 900...some ppl prefer to get their credits even earlier
but i prefer to spend my cash on vests and stay as strong as possible...

Once Pimp credits (which the higher productivity, more income your junkies bring in) are 900 or lower, start focusing on 1/3 of your cash on credits
rest on vests and shakes...

I m going to assume there is a decent one or two strong gun crews in the same room as you are,so dont try to hoard your cash too early...When you are around 4 mil worth try to go up to 192 k coat at once.192k coat will be your final coat..never forget to check your coat before spending tokens..
we dont have labs and if you run out of drugs, junkies will stop working
Around Day 15 you can start doing mini hoards...I m assuming around day 15 if you havent lost single junkie you should be making about 160 mil cash a day...
I would say spend 50k on vests, enough on to keep you 200% stamina and 175% pimp productivity...Hoard rest of the cash..again check MM record,
player search Most guns record..if you are above him you should be fine..
Do this till last 7 days or so..then you can start hoarding more cash, even everything as long as you are above Most Guns and not on MM
then get your theft down to 85% then last day spend all your cash at once on vests..its good to wait till last 15 mins if possible

So a good question, when to get Theft credits to be able to purchase weapons for cheaper as low as 850 which is your goal to reach...
I have seen some ppl start getting theft in when theft prices reach down to 400..some ppl wait for last day to get them for 100-150 each...
make sure to get your theft in atleast last 12 hours...sometimes its hard to find theft credits last few hours and it will hurt your worth...
I would say its a good idea to wait till last day BUT as you play more you will feel comfortable..If Theft credits are going cheaper than usual,i start getting them in earlier
I buy ,spend my cash on daily vest then sell my theft for more expensive..this way i get to play with the market for extra profit,i get my weapons cheaper...
This will depend on few things..how often do you login?will you be able to be online to spend your cash when creds sell...is market reliable and how strong gunning is but first few rounds get them last few with your hoarded cash until you figure out to play it the way fits you best

This part is for cabs and cartel founders who wish to win medals!!!

- Make sure atleast 18 players of your players in your team are on junkie strat
- Tell them to keep their stamina at 200% at any condition..
- Warn them about records page, and make sure to message ppl staying behind
- If anyone needs to go inactive for few days, help them babysit
- and watch gunning records daily..its your job to warn your players..Be on top of it
- lead them to play the market for extra profit..dont put all your cash on market..then you cant get enough vests to protect yourself
- Personal warning: build your team on a trust level not always the quality

i will add on to this thread as i remember more stuff...now pls our vet players, start explaining some of the calculations behind this strat, and how to play it strong...

So back to the subject...

Why does noob cartels dont always prefer to play junkie strat,And why should they play junkies?

First of all,one of the first reasons why you should play junkies is depending on your goals..
Do you really enjoy the game and love the team you put together?
then you definetly want to win a medal and prove yourself..Yes a good machine cartel can win medals,so can a good credit sellers..
thats ofcourse only when if you are lucky enough to have the market crashed or gunning is way too strong...
Comparing to other strats it has the most team work of all....
You constantly need to check gunners, let each other know where junkie record is and you feed each other with such a great cartel benefits..
after day 15 cartel benefits in a strong junkie crew can be up to 40 mil cash a day..imagine u get 40 mil everyday last 15 days..
thats 600 mil extra cash..around 28 mil extra worth...so without your team you could finish around 150 mil worth...
with a strong team you can still play the same strat and finish 178 mil...
a small calculation would show that as a team you could have extra up to 600 mil worth..and you just managed your first medal

I have realized that if you plan to teach your team how to play this strat, first few rounds you need to motivate them and tell them how every step works
Why do we get no labs, why do we skip other coats and jump to 192k coat, why does stamina is so important, and how to protect yourself from gunners
protecting from gunners as a team could even mean using handles that dont get attention, cartel names that is not related to junkies,
and never posting on gametalk...

A good cab should never discuss cartel strat with anyone outside the cartel, dont be too cocky and dont brag about how you got such a good cartel
basically win but dont ask for too much attention

if you check the last 10 rounds,i am pretty sure 20 out of those 30 medal winners (gold, silver, bronze) won medals as a junkie cartel
A junkie strat also keeps the game fun...You deal with so much cash daily, you can play the market (help credit runners),you will be a target for gunners
(gunners have fun),and the few lucky machinists in your crew will score monster..It is such a giving strategy...

its good...the new players will find it useful. At the end of the day we cannot hold their hands...there is x amount they have to learn for themselves but as a starter guide it has lots of use.

there seem to be very few people running junkies anymore, certainly not in b3 and b4 and if reports are true there is a hidden cartel in b1 all running machines, why bother?

im sure junkies will have their day again soon but cartel news in many cartels actively discourages them, which is very strange and the cartels im in people rarely listen to my advice, a tad frustrating.....

The most important thing I tell players is to use the strat I give them as a guide.

We have to make decisions based on what's going on in the room.

It's best to work the room than follow that strat to a tee.

I think joining a random cartel and trying to teach them will hardly work...But one of the methods me and andrius used was to join noob cartels in other rooms and pick people from there..you focus on few at a time...we had 3 of us doing this and upcoming round 3 of those out of 7 we recruited managed to score high...

Im running junkies in B4,as machines bore me. It's quite sad actually....gunners even with no hope in hell of getting through are jumping relentlessly...nevertheless, I soldier on

well at least they put the time in to organize a cart so there is hope they could become a junkie cart in the future :eh:

I agree with that...I think if i were to start a brand new cartel right now full of noobs first round i would go with machines and credit sellers..It would be kind of a testing round to see who is capable of what..how active your players are and can you trust them?

Running a junkie strat can kill the motivation so quick..once you start losing junkies and falling behind you dont enjoy the game much..so first build the team spirit then play junkies...:)
