yeah, i addicentally put in hallogen instead of neon which is what my car was designed for

Excellent post kurtis!!! I often forget to check my own mufler bearings when I run into such dillemmas, a mistake to be avoided!

I have reviewed your problem and the information provided and have found the solution to you question. the problem you are having is due to a loose nut behind the steering wheel. removal of said nut will fix problem.

Check the inflation of the camshaft/s. Underinflation results in sluggish performance and "grabby" braking. Overinflation may cause excessive wear on your seat-covers. Most modern vehicles perform best at around 13.4 - 168 900 000 microns : 1.
If this doesn't fix it, as a LAST RESORT, try replacing the button on the shifter. Of course, in America the steering wheel is on the wrong side, so the above probably doesn't apply.
