...u do know it's a honda qwa-lude tho don't ya? LOL! i think that is the only car Yugos ever outranked in consumer buyers guide! like the civic, preludes are junk. be sure to keep extra timing belts, water pumps, and head gaskets(especially) on hand....you will need them.
the accord is the only durable honda and good for half a million miles!

im not mad at ya, but bud, your talking out your ass. the prelude sh is the second fastest car honda has ever made for street production, the 2.2 is rated at over 200 hp stock, and mine has 120,000 miles on it and runs like its brand new. i understand loyalty and all, but you aint said one right word yet, lol
the OLDER ludes had HG problems, not these ones.

my pals civic s i r II is dead sexy, and fucken quick that was the fastest 1.8 honda produced i think

qualudes look good and are light on their wheels but they are very problematic, and basically.....an acura!
i gots 2000 honda accord v6, and i'll race any stock honda ever made...or toyota for that matter!
(edit) i also still have my '80 accord that i drove in highschool. it has FACTORY AIR and 393,000 miles and only lately started leaking a little oil from main or oilpan gasket but still runs like a top!
Psychostyle
3rd June 2006, 02:34 AM
mines not problematic at all, lol, and i'll be building the motor myself, so im not worried about gaskets or anything
im about to put up some finished shots, it just got out of tint

...if you accessorized that biatch with blood red louver, bra and pinstriping that'd be one sic lil ride!

the dayz of pimpin in continentals and cadilacs are coming to an end! you would not believe all the pimpmobiles in my neighborhood, out of gas with their tires marked awaiting towing! The brothers just take their rims off and leave em for dead! LOL!

i prefer "classic" cars...bel airs...t birds...chromed out gas guzzling shiny old cars
YetAnotherKitten

I agree with phoenix but I would like them a lot better if they ran fuel efficient.
P it looks nice!! I like the secret color!! I'll even leave out "secret color jokes" oh wait...

i love the classics myself, especially '60's chevy SuperSports and vettes, but now when i see these kinds of cars my mind unconsciously computes the amount of fuel they are wasting. i got neighbor with sweet '67 buick GS, and i swear he wastes over $10 fuel per day just reving that bitch up in his garage, and never drives the dang thing!
pstyle can probably get 400 miles of pimpin out of one 12 gal. gas tank, whereas the brothers and their caddies can't get 300 miles of pimpin on 22 gal. tank!

my goal is to get one of those pimpin' bel airs...and run a more efficient engine in it...possibly make it natural gas or propane...bio diesel would work...or even make it a hybrid...problem is that they're so heavy....that you would need something with some sort of power behind it...like bio diesel

that'd be easy cause oldsmobile makes fine diesel with lots of power. I'm sure they can be converted to burn cow shit, or french fry grease!

yeah, those be sweet cars to have. that 427 would be best served in '67 shelby fastback. have you ever seen american chopper where paul sr. and jr. build a carol shelby bike, and he lets paul sr. beat around in a couple of different shelbys? THAT'S LININ', BABY!

i love the 427 cobra though...first car i ever drove (no i'm not a spoiled rich kid, my stepdad wrote for kit car magazine) it's also the cheapest car on that list, and more people would stare at that car than any other...i mean look at it

i just got back from the track, i've uploaded one of my runs. Its the first time i've had this car (92 white hatchback) on the track with this motor. i turned a 6.83 on this pass, then i ran out in the second round. Short night but saw some other good races before i took off. there was another good 4 hours left of racing when i took off at 11:30.

thanks, i grew up around cars all my life thanks to my dad. He helped alot with building this car, i guess u can say it's an family affair. The nova on my putfile page is my brothers car and he did all the body mods (roll cage, tubbing the rear) My father talked me thru the engine build so i would now how to do it.

yup...beats the ricerockets every time...also beat a porsche 911 2 turbo yesterday...shitty thing about the truck is that it has so much torque, that it's hard to keep straight. If we can keep the damn thing straight...we can probably get low 7's...but you have to fight the damn thing
TJ60
7th June 2006, 07:35 PM
Mickey thompson street slicks will help alot with that, also some stabilizer bars for the rear. but trust me the tires will make a world of difference
Phoenix
10th June 2006, 02:12 AM
Bought the best tires we could find for it...half the money we spent on the damn thing was stuff to keep it straight. If we hadn't i woulda crashed the thing 15 feet from the line
