They finallly brought in a suspect to the JonBenet Ramsey case. Caught the AP blurb a minute after it came out so nothing to substantial yet. Read the it was a school teacher that was detained. What do you make of this? A scapegoat, or the real guy?

It will be interesting to see how he was related to the family. It doesn't seem to make sense that a perfect stranger can walk into a home in the middle of the night and murder a child without anyone hearing.....but as we saw with Amy Smart.....it can be possible.

Damn these people with their huge mansions ;-) Protect your children! Get a small house! lol

He used to live near them..that is atleast one connection. Supposedly he was supposed to kidnap Jon Benet for 118,000 dollars or somthing. He somehow "accidentally" beat her and strangled her. :S. He also says that he "loved Jon Benet".

The whole think makes no sense at all.

The Ramseys- "Elated" -Gee ya think.. now they aren't suspects!

His ex wife and father say he was at home in another state that night, yet he gave authorities graphic details about the condition of JonBenet Ramsey's body that only the medical examiner and investigators knew, hmmm

Some say he studied the case in great detail and was obsessed with it.

He says he "loved" her, yet the crime was brutal and criminal psychology would dispute that it was an accident and that the killer loved her. The ransom note would mean the motive would have been for money, not sex abuse and murder. hmm

And.. "Karr's connection to Colorado is also vague. Although his e-mail correspondence with a University of Colorado journalism professor led to his arrest in Thailand, authorities said, they have produced no evidence to show Karr was ever in Colorado" << cnn

I duno, I think there's too many contradictions and I have serious doubts that he's the real killer.

and lol@ maija.. "protect your children, get a small house"

Personaly I think that if he did it he should die a slow and painful death, maybe by leaving a bamboo plant to grow up through his gooch and into vital organs.
well i see you gave this kinda murder some thought! i like it!

their not even going to charge him now, he just didn't want to go to jail in thailand. I wouldn't want to either. So all this time the real killer is just sitting in the house watching tv and laughing.

What a smart (but sick guy). All he did was research the Ramsey case so that he could confess to the murder and avoid an immediatle death penalty or torture in Thai jail for child molestation there.

It will be months (if not years) now before he will be extradited back to Thailand, and our legal system here will tie up that process for years if he has the right lawyers. Sick and intelligent bastard.

with the amount of crime shows on these days you can see what happens to those that commit the crimes and how they are discovered. in a documentry of the CSI series an actual DI commented that the show made things look harder then they were and that alot of things that happened to find out what was done that are shown on the show arent used really.

thats just one instance of things.. but i know f.b.i. agents that say they have higher technology than that shown on c.s.i. n ect. and they dont show it to the media so its harder for criminals to realize the tools.. you would need someone inside

he will most likely stand trial for his crime in thailand in usa.
