i think it would be cool if all cabs could see when there players last logged in, this way they can kick and remove players quicker, without waiting on replys from PM's etc

i like that idea.
and sort of related, it would be cool if accounts were automatically deleted after being unactive for a length of time, so people cant sign up sleepers to hit low hoarders in the end.

I like this idea but it also has a flaw this info could be feed off to a gunner so they know if you have just updated or if its been 30 hours sence you last played. In general GREAT IDEA however could create problems.
Cushion

u have a valid point but why would a cab member give out info from the cartel to a gunner cartel ?

Fake cartel, owner sends out info to the gunners

i like the idea. We would have to steal the inactitvity code from gc to make it work...aka no one logs in for 48 hours and the handle gets locked untill said owner re logs in. Being locked they cannot be jumped AFTER THE 48 hours limit but of course they would also loose out on tokens so they dont gain there...might need playing with. Gonna post a link to this thread in the staff section

Well I think this is a classic case of ying and yang. People have come up with the strategy to be a low hoarder so naturally others would come up with a strat to have sleepers to counter the low hoarders.
Idk if that makes sense but it sounded good in my head. ;)

Steff the point to the last comment i made was, even if someone come up with a genius suggestion nothing would be done, as staff dont like others making good suggestions, so why bother with this section, its pointless, and alot more people in here sed they like the idea rather than against it

i dont see how that is going to change anything. so the owner of the account cant get jumped? then they log in an get their account back?
my suggestion was that after a set period of time, the account gets deleted, so that nobody can sign up an account in a medal room and leave it inactive all month just to hit low hoarders in the end. that way, if they wanted to be a bitch and hit low hoarders in the end, they have to atleast spend their tokens once in awhile.

That should be Psychostyles job to delete EVERY account including inactive multis. I remember a few rounds ago someone was talking about leaving an account low worth and not logging into it until it's needed so Psychostyle doesn't delete it.

if pstyle actually does delete the inactives, then there is no need, but we all know how lazy pstyle is, and it would be an easy thing to make automatic. because iv seen people use this frequantly just to fuck other peoples games.
i think a better idea would be, instead of a time limit, the account gets deleted after X number of tokens are missed. so that a player actually has to spend his tokens, rather then log in every 48 hours or so.

Ok seriously now delete account cuz inactive. I have made accounts in rooms just so i can log in on last day to see how the cartels are doing. plus if you are willing to low hoard then be willing to take the damage from a player that was inactive for 3 weeks or so. the title of the game is DopeWARS stop trying to make the game easier.

whats easier then signing up an account and leaving it till the end to fuck up somebody elses game? theres not even any thought or work involved
and one good thing i would like to see, would be a delete account option, for if your round is really fucked, and you want to abandon it, you dont have to leave it to the scavengers.

imagine A1 every that hasnt played their account deleted, second lowest person has 5 million worth
that low hoarder has less then 1 million worth now no1 can touch him and hes basicly gonna win because of it.
IF YOU ARE WILLING TO RISK VERY LOW HOARDING THEN ACCEPT THE FACT YOU WILL GET GUNNED

there will be other low hoarders, they always jump eachother. i always have 1 or 2 low gunners in a1 anyway.

It would help if this was a good suggestion for the long run. It's not. Here's exactly what I said in the Staff section if you want to see why we're thinking that particular suggestion isn't useful.
Yeah, I'm not really sure if I think it's necessary. The fact is a successful cartel is going to have open communication with their members. Those members are responsible for replying back to the cabinet, just like the cabinet is responsible for keeping up with the inactives. This is just a case of where they don't want to have drama because they can't communicate with each other, and isn't really a valid reason for coding this in.
This also isn't including the most obvious way of getting around it (logging in every day for 2 seconds, or logging in and spending 1 token) Now I'm "active" again. Deleting inactives that have no prior activity might be an idea, but with the same sort of exploitation described above, doing such would become worthless anyway.
And how the hell are we against suggestions anyway? I'm revamping C games as it is, and it's not like I'm just going to do continue to make changes out of the blue without input from the people that play it.

i agree with KS. While I do think the suggestion is a good one, I also think it is a waste of time. If you are actively running your cartel and paying attention you can easily tell if they are not playing or not. Do it the good old-fashioned way and copy the cartel list into the news.If the player hasnt moved in days then boot their ass, unless it's a loyal player then you start worrying

So I log in and work at McRonalds for x amount of tokens. I gain next to nothing as a result of it, but at least I don't get kicked out. It only solidifies the spy's position of "valued cartel member that logs on daily."

exactly. if somebody wants to suicide low worthers at the end, they should have to spend their tokens atleast. no free rides.
and i disagree with your comment that it "solidifies the spy's position" every cabbie knows, just because a person is playing their tokens, that doesnt mean they arent a spy.
