Sucks balls, b5 is a prime example these blatent slavers should be deleted straight away rather than the end of the round. Why the fuck should 4-5 players be aloud to ruin 150-200 players games.

Pour example

Botany Credits 39,150 $400 39,150
Pimpology Credits 409,150 $700 50,671
Home Economics Credits 138,000 $999 35,505
Shop Class Credits 138,408 $800 44,337
Theft Credits 684,221 $750 47,293

1 belachan (#30) $198,990,296 Certified Gangsters

What a fuckin joke, I understand it may have been overlooked by admin. Is there not a way to flag up slaving on your admin tool panel, during the round rather than after it when the slaver gets a dq or maybe a ban which is unlikely, rather tahn mess up all the hours that dw players put in?

As they say in the trade

Complete agreement from me... It's just plain annoying.

i agree with Andyy i think there should be a whole game scan of dodgey looking score half way through the round, not at the end :)

Yep, considering that even though they get deleted at the end, they've brought every other cartel in that room down... Might even keep someone from getting an overall. How fair is that?

Yep, my game is fucked there because of the credit prices due to slavers. :@

...it's being sorted in the SB as we speak.

The SB is the new admin discussion area!

What exactly is credit slaving? Is that where the same person buys low and then re sells high? Not trying to be dumb here, there still is a lot about this game Im trying to figure out what it means....

Buckledmac
5th September 2006, 06:42 PM
sort of Grim, i think it also involves having other people supply the low priced creds at set times so the main seller knows when to come on and get them to sell high :|

Surely it is just another way of proceeding through a B game.

And there are no guarantees you would profit.

For example if you bought 100000 units at 100 and opted to sell them for 1000

if other people list 1000000 between them with the max price at 800 they all have to sell before the person at 1000 gets any money. (yes/no?) :S

Oh to have the money to do it.:)

How can it be just another way?? He'd make a $900 profit if he did that and even if the marekt was at $600 and he was getting them at $100 he's making a $500 profit per credit. It requires no skill, it's just plain slaving.

smart strat but it is pretty much cheating, it works, but it ruins the game for the rest of the players, cuz every1 knos wats going on, but cant stop it, unless they are an admin..... but not all of us are... unfortunatly...

ok i do not comment much in the forum but this topic is one i can comment on

B games suck ass due to all the multis made in order for others to jump in for extra junkies and the credit slaving........i wish things would be fair in all games so i could play them all with no worries of being cheated out of the round i choose to play!!!!!

Wait, i'm confused. It is indeed just buying low and selling high? I don't mess with credit selling at all, but how is that cheating? You need a ton of money in order to affect the overall market. If you keep one type (i.e. pimpology) artificially high, if the credit producers were smart, they'd flood that one til it was the same as the rest since it costs the same to create all types of credits. At least that's how a market economy should work. I think i'm confused on what people are mad about.

Calienta

I think ... That it's the fact that there is an account strictly to benefit another account, thus being its slave?

tca
15th October 2006, 03:37 AM
yes rachel, that is correct, no one account is supposed to strictly benefit another account

Timoteo32
15th October 2006, 06:08 AM
Gotcha. But isn't that the point of not having an exact time when the credits hit the market? I mean I'm in cartels where people post what they're selling all the time, but seems like anyone could grab them if they came on a little early. I dunno, doesn't seem too hard to fix.

Calienta
15th October 2006, 06:11 AM
That's the idea lol, it's funny as fuck a couple days into the round when you spot creds at $100, and you know they were meant for somebody slaving mwahaha  and then you buy them all up and resell 'em(a)

So Warped

Every cartel has sellers, can they all be deleted as well, please.

Timoteo32
16th October 2006, 02:45 AM
see now that just seems rash

Spork!!!
16th October 2006, 08:38 AM
OK, so where exactly does Admin "draw the line" on this? I understand that having ppl. create accounts purely to make and sell cheap credits to their friends is a no-no, BUT, how about mid-round, if a seller knows his game is ruined, so he sells cheap(er) creds to his cartel-mates? How can you tell the difference?

Diogee old
16th October 2006, 01:46 PM
I know I have been the cause of accounts being deleted by posting $100 credits all round at the same time every day.

not cause I was selling them to one person but just felt like posting $100 creds all round
