I can wait til my new subs arrive...... ported box, dual kicker 12's L7's (wired at 2 ohms)... powered kenwood 900 or so watts rms at 2 ohms... fucking paid a shitload but oh well you know nothing but the best. :)
Got rid of my old weaker system for about 500 dollars so not to bad of a deal.
old- 2 12's JL W1's in a sealed dual box... powered by a RF p4002... notto bad wired at 2 ohms... W1's are nice for somewhat bass... but cant wait for the new puppies. :)

yea, my little brother's placed in a few car audio competitions too. he took out all his interior, rhino-coated everything, even behind the head-liner....he says that is almost as important as the hi-fi equipment he uses! maybe vyou already know this trick, but if not give it a try.

the wattage ain't nearly as important as the amperage.

Thomas, for an audio application you are incorrect, wattage does matter..
Trap, I hope that amp is at least 2 channel, because you have no available options for wiring a mono-channel with 2 l7's.. also, i hope you have money for a sealed box, as i dont think you will like the ported sound a whole lot, uunless you are strictly going for a DB reading.

It was my fault i mis read the info, its a 2 channel amp. I am looking into DB's for a while, plus i alrdy had my friend make the box thats sealed cuz i figured i would need it.
I was trying to get ahold of you, (PStyles) but u were away i believe for the few days when i was getting the sh*t.
I only paid
2 L7's - $300
box - 50 ish
amp - $300 ish
everything is brand new and comes with the extra warrenty (just in case shit happens...)
If someone can recommend some other amp that would push these better let me know, i will return this one.
thx for the info guys.

get two amps 500 rms each and what kind of kenwood amp do u have i dont think they make a 900rms amp casue that would be close to 1800 watts peak and that would be a class A amp and that would not cost no 300$ class A your going to spend a couple hundred more

there are a few avaliable options.. for the 300$ you paid for that amp, return it and get a MA Audio "Hardcore" series (IMPORTANT).. they are cheap, the are powerful, the have digital displays for tempreture and voltage, and most importantly, most of them are .5-1 ohm stable.

I had one before they were released to the public (back in 01-02?) i had to wait a month for the damn thing because the 1st truck they sent out got hijacked and they lost the whole load..i beat the hell out of that amp, 2 2 ohm VC l7's bridged down to 1 ohm per channel..never once gave me any grief..to bad i sold it with the subs, oh well
