I read an article the other day that staph infections are quickly growing around the country.

You can catch one from having a surgery, a cut, even an opening as small as a pin prick or a paper cut or a rug burn.

It's important to wash your hands thoroughly, and apply antibiotic ointments to the smallest of cuts.

A staph infection can be very serious.. even causing death.

But this is what's horrifying.. it can lead to what is called the "flesh eating disease". :|

wrestlers (roman greco) MMA athletes are at risk the most. Thats why my senoir year of highschool they passed a law that all mats had to be cleaned with bleach before practice and before a match. We had an outbreak of ring worm...i was lucky enough to not get it.

Staph infections are on the rise in daycares too. really scary wehn you drop your kids off at the daycare and they come home with what could be a potential fatal disease. so happy that my kids will never ever go to daycare :)

There was an outbreak of MRSA in our football (american) team, that led to some major teasing :D
