A man settling down to go to bed one night noticed two people in his garage trying to steal his car
He phoned the police and was told there was no-one in the area that could help,they said they would send someone over as soon as someone became available
He hung up the phone,a minute later he rang again "hello" he said "I phoned you a minute ago because there were people in my garage,you dont have to worry now because i have shot them both"
Within minutes there was half a dozen police cars, a helicopter and an armed response unit at his house, they caught the thieves red-handed.
One of the officers said"I thought you said that you had shot them"
To which he replied"I thought you said there was no-one available"
