Its been a long time coming from envron.

I was banging on about him getting a thread at the same time i was banging on about momo getting one, which is a fair few months back now.

Im now helping vixen choose whos next up for recognition, and i must say it was a tough choice, especially between thatguy and envron, however i felt he was just slightly more deserving.

Thanks for all the kind words... I've noticed a reoccuring theme in this thread, all highlighting my quite nature. I'm not much of a forum talker. Don't know why but it's just never been my things. Though, those who have caught me on MSN have found that i can be a chatty fellow. I'm trapped in a cube all day at work so it's not hard to find me. envron gets his well deserved recognition thread - at last. I second all the nice things people have said above. He's quite underrated and I'm sure he would have won the last ASG if steve hadn't messed it up. I haven't kept track of the #2 overalls he has in his books, but he has a lot of them. overall wins too ...
anyway, don't be too shy to talk to him. He doesn't bite and is a pretty entertaining and well-behaved guy. You can learn a lot from him in many ways.

What brought you to DW in the first place?

A good friend of mine (Sleeping for those who play GC) forced me to start playing so I could join his cartel Beans Inc (when we were younger we used the word beans around our parents when referring to marijuana. “hey nick wanna come to my house and eat some beans”, “hey you got any beans?”) We’ll needless to say I started playing and he quit a month or so later.

What was your original name in the game?

Envron and DubieDoo. Yup I was one of those ignorant newb players that thought when the FAQ posted on the main page said you could have 2 accounts in one game that it was true. Well needless to say I found out a few months later when I actually ventured to the forum.

Hmm.. To admit my geekness or not? That is the question. Ahh what the hell. I’m a gamer geek and back when I started playing DWs I had a gnome illusionist in named Envron. Not being to creative with names I used that and stuck with it.

What was your best finish in the game?

I would say my best would be when I had 5 games over 200mil in one round and took 4 of the top 7.

Do you prefer A, B, or C games?

I started playing A games a lot for the first 6 to 8 months I played. I enjoyed it a lot and did a lot of machines and junkies, but then I found B games. Then I learned what vests lost ment when a gunner gunned you and fell in love with gunning the gunner.

What would be the perfect DW-Style Game for you?

I think B games is my perfect game. It would be interesting to have a game that cut the size of cartels to 5-8 with B rules.

What cartel were you in when you started playing DW?

Well Beans Inc was my first, but I don’t think it counts. After Beans I joined Aprile's Borgata with Kronic and Fiddy and helped run the cartel a round or two. The only time I’ve run a cartel. After that I joined Civil Disobedience and the rest is history.

What cartels have you been a part of?

I don’t think there is enough room for me to list all the cartels I’ve been in. I consider myself a dopewars whore. A better question would be what cartel haven’t I played in.

What is your favorite cartel you were ever in?

I don’t think I have one favorite. TLB, CD, Reds, Street Kings and Love Rats are the ones that come to mind at the moment.

What was your least favorite cartel?

Can’t think of any off the top of my head, but I know a few have kicked me from their cartel during the first week because of underperforming.. Eh their loss.

What new cartel are you keeping your eye on?

None have caught my eye lately.

Have you ever run a cartel, and if so which one(s)?

Just Aprile's Borgata… I run a company in Freemarkets and they are only 10 players teams. Let me tell you I’ve earned a lot of respect for those who run 20+ player teams in DWs!

What is you favorite DW moment?

I think taking overall would have to be it!

What is your least favorite DW moment?

The 5 or 6 times I’ve taken 2nd overall

Who are your friends in the game?

Red Dragon, Lady in Red, Stupid and Contagous, Tim|Away, Buddha, She Cat, Metal Fan, Fiddy, Kronic, Deadwood… We’ll I’m sure I’ve missed a lot. To early in the morning to try and think this much.

Who are your enemies in the game?

Eh I’m easy going. No real enemies.

Who adopted you when you were a n00b?

I took the hard road and never really was adopted. I think Red Dragon I would consider the first when he invited me to CD about 5 rounds into playing.

If you could tell one person in the game to go to hell who would it be and why?

I think at the moment it would be Bellows. Bastard caught me slackin last round and took a load of $$

I’ve done a lot so I’m not sure what would be considered the most Interesting. The thing that comes to mind at the moment would be hiking in Jasper national forest to the Peyto glacier. That was simply breath taking.

Sushi! Fatty tuna and sweet shrimp mmmmm but really I love all food and its starting to show!

I don’t see and end in the foreseeable future.

Hike to Machu Picchu in Peru. I’m a real big fan of ancient and speculative history.
