Hello all mums and dads of the game!
I thought that we could have this thread where all parents, single parents, or any parents of any situaton could get together to discuss kids matters!
I know for certain I'm not the only one with a kid and faced problems during the time bringing up my kid. Im a sole parent and it would be nice to be able to find advice or to just chat about things with others in the same lifestyle as me, without having to turn to family or other means.
Hope we can make this work and use it for our benefit!

well i am not a total stay at home mom. i work at night and then stay up with my little ones until their daddy comes home. then a i get a short nap before returning to work. so if i seem to not make sense, it could be just a lack of sleep. 2 y/o and a 4 1/2 y/o -and you know that it is really bad if you forget to say the 1/2 part.
i don't believe in day care. i had kids to raise them myself. so i planned my career to be able to do this. nothing against anyone who uses daycare though. :)

two boys (4 & 2) w/ a baby girl on the way.
i always say that i'd like to be a stay at home parent but it'd probably drive me insane after a bit...

Single mum....w/ a boyfriend who helps out with her..
she is 2 1/2 (lol at the 1/2 beli)
I work nights so i can spend days with my beautiful daughter...she is my life..
she does go to daycare for 2 hrs a day...
i would rather she didn't but it has done wonders for her she has her little group of toddler friends and the daycare has informed me that they find her bright enough to bump her up a daycare grade...
she is my life ... and until i had her i didn't know what true love was.
i do now. ♥
Her name is Dylan-Alexandria, i love her name and i love to tell people because they always say..."isn't that i boys name?"
it's makes me laugh

2 boys and 1 girl....2 fathers
now a single mother of a 15 yr old boy (tony ;) )by my only marriage, and a 7 yr old girl and 3 yr old boy with the man i had my last relationship with, that ended about 2 and a half yrs ago.
my youngest has a communicative disorder which qualifies him for speech therapy through the local elementary school even though he is only 3. Seeing all of the other children there makes me feel lucky that out of all the things that could have gone wrong i only have to deal with some speech problems that may clear up before he starts school (keeping my fingers crossed)
i put my daughter on the bus (2nd grade) then get dressed and go to work. my youngest goes to my best friends house who runs an in home daycare. I usually am home around 7ish to rush around with homework...chores that didnt get done...fights that happened between the 2 older kids who are home alone till i get home. showers and bed by 9 for the kids if i am lucky... average night :)

Working dad of 2 - Rebecca (nearly 5) & Joseph (3 1/2).
Rebecca is a little princess. Joseph is in training to run his own crime syndicate by age 12.
At least he'll by able to contribute to the Mundi Early Retirement Benevolent Fund...
With my shifts, I'm able to spend a couple of days quality time with them a week & have got in trouble a few times at work for not committing to "voluntary" overtime because I wanna spend time with my young 'uns...

hmmmm....single mom of my "terror squad"... 2 boys...(are you ready, ok...) older one just turned four in september, his name is Dustyn Yasu Pa'aponomaikalani Okimoto-Lunasco...whew, outta breath yet??? lol.
...and... my younger one turns three on my birthday (that thief) on november 3rd, and his name is...breathe...Daetyn Stephan Pa'aikawainohiamaikalani Okimoto-Lunasco...man I pity them when they need to learn how to write their names...mean ole mommy..haha
They are ALL I have left in this world...as cruel as it is, the three that raised me, I buried all within the past two and a half years...my grandpa, my grandma, and most recently my mom...so my boys are the ONLY reason I get up everyday and struggle to make it til night when they finally turn from the devils they were hired to be into the angels I always knew they were...lmao...
just like mom, swift mouth, hard head, smarter than the average, and will not shut up if they think theyre right... hahaha... my heart, my soul, my inspiration to get me to tomorrow...the only men i count on in life... =) ;)

Single father of a daughter age 9. Formerly a stay at home dad as my daughter was abandoned by her mother at age 3 and while I was away at the Univ. of WA my daugher became distraught that neither of her parents loved her. I was lucky enough to have parents to fall back on where I could leave school and not work so I could spend endless amounts of time with her til she had her head straight. 4 years after doing that for her I am now working as a slave apprentice for an electrician and learning the trade so I can put her through college herself someday.
There is nothing more tear jerking than hearing your child ask why her mother doesn't love her. Except maybe the hug and "I love you daddy" you recieve from them despite not being able to give them the real answer they'll eventually deserve. Just not at this point in their life.
