been thinking latley bout iraq with all the disturbing reports coming out of there that things are getting worse. i think i might have come up with a sollution. it might be somewhat of an embarassment to the us but i dont think its anymore embarassing then whats going on right now.
1 relase sadam and put him back in power.
2 remove all our troops
he might be lunatic dictator who violates some of his peoples rights but lot more civilians are dying right now let alone a bunch of our young brave soldiers fighting for what seems to be a lost cause.
this might be embarassing for america but would save countless lives of our soldiers and even more of iraqi civilians.
we all know they have no weapons of mass destruction and as for terrorist factor most of what people consider terrorist or terrorism in iraq is mainly within iraq. let them deal with there problem.
as for the money for oil thing in iraq im sure bush cheney and there cohorts making a bundle off of it but it isnt the answer to our fuel crisis obviously with our skyrocketing fuel costs. the only reason they are low now is because its close to an election and will return to the 3 dollars and more for gas once the election is over.
this is just some things on my mind feel free to discuss debate and argue your points of view about this
oops btw also would save the lives of troops from our allied countries i didnt want to leave them out im sure someone would have brought that up before long

They DO have WMD though...we know this because we are the ones that sold them the weapons in the first place. *lmao*

the nature of any wmd's though is that without proper maintenace they simply decay and become useless in several years.
And ive done my own research into the problems in Iraq and ive finally found one

LOL Bellows..that was classic.. Actually I had another idea and that was split Iraq into 3 counties..Give the Sunnis their piece, the Shiites their piece and the north to the Kurds..

Well if I was trying to stabilize the region and the biggest problem was the fact that these 3 groups couldn't get along..Maybe this would help with the oil and keep the peace!

Democracy cant be exported, it only comes about after civil war and rebellion so how they think they can sort this situation out is beyond me. In fact it was the CIA who gave the Saddam & the Baath party the support it needed to overthrow Abdul Karim Qassim, the 1st president of Iraq. When will the US government learn??

Well you do that then get the hell out and let them sort it..it no longer becomes civil war..it becomes real war...

BTW
The idea of splitting Iraq into three seperate countries was first voiced by none other than Winston Churchill, and his idea was shot down. I think we ought to give it a try as well. The tribal issues are problems in Iraq, Afghanistan, and many other countries that we in the west set up collectively. It might just work to let them all go back to being segregated again with some sort of profit sharing arrangement for those that will be cut off from the oil... Something to be thought about anyway...

Thanx Furyous..your right..the warring tribes were brought together by dictator and the state has been held together by the thought of violence being brought down by the state. Once that was taken away by Saddam, 1000 year old hatreds bubbling under the surface pop right back up..

That would be a great idea, the problem is, that Saudi's would start backing the Sunni's with their oil money, The Shiite's would get backed by Iran and their oil money... and the Kurds(who are actually doing pretty well right now) would be steamrolled. If there was a way to assimilate these states into already established ones, I say great. Then we talk the Turks into letting their Kurds integrate with Iraqi Kurds, form Kurdistan, and everyone is happy. Problem is, no one will let that happen. Unfortuately there were two choices in Iraq... go in, finish the job, let them set up with our aid (kinda like the aftermath of WW2. Hopefully by then people would be tired of fighting (again, just like WW2) The other choice was to not go in, shut off oil for food, track down the illegal ways Saddam was getting money, and let the Arab nations deal with him, it's not like he was too popular over there anyway. As far as WMD goes, he might have tried to get them, maybe even had them at some point, thing is, he smuggled them out, just like he tried to do with his air force before the first Gulf War. Saddam tried to hide his jets in Iran... who then refused to return them... I say give the troops what they need to do their job... it's too late for anything else.
