Alright, let's clear a few things up....

1) If you haven't recieved your activation code, go look in your junk e-mail folder. It's sent as an automated response from the server, and it was filtered directly into my junkmail account within minutes. It should be there if it's not in your inbox.

2) I also had a hell of a time figuring out how to make the game work. Here's how it's done....

To play you're going to need to use your keyboard, and your mouse.

To pull forward to the staging area, put your car in gear by hitting your up arrow. Then hover your mouse pointer over the green button next to your guages. That is your "gas pedal" left click and slide it up. That'll get you moving.

To stop moving, hit the down arrow, that'll downshift, and put your car in neutral.

The brakes, which I only use if I'm afraid I'm going to breakout, are to the left of the gas pedal. It's a red button...

I haven't had to use the feather the clutch slider at all, on the right hand side of the gas slider, so I really can't tell you how to use it....

When you start to upgrade your car, and you buy Nitrous, you can use your nitrous by hitting the right arrow key. This took me a while to figure out!

I've personally gone with a supercharged engine, with nitrous, and I'm in the 9 second range now with the hatchback. My next big purchase will probably be the adjustable gears, as I'm hitting the rev limiter in 5th gear right now with too much time left in the race. I think I can get that car into the 8 second rage with a different gear setup!

That's about all you need to know to get going. Post any more questions you might have here, and I'm sure we can come up with answers for you....

So, get in there, and join up. It's a good waste of time, as if any of us really need to waste any more time!

If I understand this correctly, all you need is a low reaction time and a stable run. who needs nitrous oxide to improve the time for taking off?
actually, you need a very light car, a short first gear, racing tyres and a good reaction time to whoop everyone's arse - even if you run constantly 50 mph from start to finish. I've seen a reaction time less than 0.5 seconds is considered to be a foul and I can get pretty close to that with my bloody civic (no modifications). What I could need is a speed limiter and cruise control. Am I missing something or am I too european?

tim the cruise control thing works if ur bracket racing, if ur going heads up then u need the nos and all the modifications.;) But i will say if u can control yourself and keep the civic stock ur et times will be more consistent which is what wins races. I couldn't control myself and bought all the mods:$

ok bracket race is nothing its not limited.. 1st you have to test your car how fast it goes

say u hit 8 sec and second time u race and u hat 7.989 the best bracket to do will be as 7.950 try to get close to that number.. but dont break the bracket number u gave in or else u will lose the game..

so test your self do many H2H races and find out your bracket number :)

and to start off with.. as soon as u get 25 K get RSX that is 1 of the best cars around... good with speed and nice bracket races and u can alwayz expect to win :)

to gradually go from there :)

sorry if u didn't mean it personal but it seemed it was directed to me as if i was stealing the money, i paid for all the mods myself. You made it seem as if i didn't put any money in at all and took it all. One of the ways i built the money up was to buy a used car and sell it for more than i bought it for. I gave BK60 22k 2 days ago. if u would like 22k i will give it to u as well. The point of the game is to win the team events. I think were 1-4 right now.

u have to enter that in the white box that say bracket et and u can't run faster than the time u enter or u lose

Brackets is the fastest time your car can go

for Eg: 15.66 means ya car will finish the race at 15 seconds

if you put 15.66 for the bracket and your car finishes the race faster than 15 , like 14 seconds.

u will get a Breakout Signand u will loose the race! do s couple of races to keeep practising and see what Bracket time is Best for you!

Your Goal is to come as close to your Bracket time as possible without running faster.

Computers still can beat u because they can run closer to there bracket number!

Whoerver comes closer to there bracket time Wins!! Bracket time is based on your REaction number and Bracker number


the best thing about bracket race is that u can beat any car if u r good with your bracket race ;)

so keep on practicing... the only way to find out is.. do H2H races through online players and find out how was your car goes.. and use that as a bracket number...
