Newport News, Va and surrounding areas

So I am going on a business trip to Newport News, VA the first full week on November. I don't travel much, let alone by myself. So here we go, who is in the area, and if you are not in the area....any suggestions of what is in the area.

can always go visit colonial williamsburg or the anhieser bush brewery at busch gardens if its open

Brewery should be open. Fun things to do. Nautilus, and the Marine Life Science museum. I know they may sound uncool, but they are. Um That's about all I know around the area. I know Busch Gardens closes that weekend, so that's gone. You could visit Jamestown as well, that's close to Williamsburg (about an hour away). Also you can go see all the battleships and take a tour. :)

Ok I have an hour and a half layover in Philly on the way home, anybody from there, LMAO
