It was just a thought but if u got rid of the ice cream suit n the ninja robe leaving the red neck overalls the biggest coat u can buy it would not completely kill the drug selling strat like the 192000 limit does n makes it so it is still a option to use.I am sure some people will agree some wont but i think that would be a better solution than what is being done, of course this is just my opinion and that means very little to anyone other than myself but i just want to see what some others think of it who like the drug selling strat n what some who dont.

Your overlooking the fact that the problem with trafficking is there is no counter strat. Making it not quite as good but still miles better than anything else and still having nothing which can counter it is no solution at all. Sorry mate but the old saying 'a day late and a dollar short' springs to mind

Seems like something could be done about how drug prices are determined to make the strat more obsolete. I haven't been around long enough to know the history of the game, but what about a test round where drugs are like credits in B? Let supply and demand take care of it.

nah, some people like to get the magical ice cream suit as a bragging right lol

i was thinking, if maybe the split between the highest possible drug price and lowest possible drug price was reduced by 10% or so, it would lower trafficking scores accordingly

There needs to be new thug/gun options.

Thug task to affect how many dealer visits they have? Or affect prices?

I don't know :hidey:

or even reduce the # of pockets they have in their coat temporarily?

seems like there should just be a way to kick their ass and take their drugs. I mean if I kick your ass, i can take what's in your pockets yeah? Seems more logical than taking part of a building (lab) and moving it to your headquarters.

You already get lab in jumps and taking a small ammount of drug won't really affect it. Plus people don't usually hold too many drugs.

Well what if it was a large amount of drugs? People who trafick may not have lab so it makes them pretty immune to jumps which is why there's no good counter strat.

How about if you can jump someone for some of the drugs the have in their coat. After all you loose guns, vests, cash, and junkies in a jump, why not drugs.

Just a thought:S

All you have to do is log out with empty pockets and you lose fuck all.

The only way to make the stat work is with bots so sort that out and end of problem. Anyone who plays the strat well manually deserves a good score. But they would really need to get a life.

ah, but if you log off with empty pockets, then you have money, which can be taken. If you spend all the money on vests so you don't have money, you lose the cash flow you need to keep the strat going.

Killaho went the right direction, a thug task attacking traffiking, may be a cop call resulting in a bust while traveling between stations

First, you'd only need a little money to keep the strat going. Second, there's no point for a gunner to jump you for drugs. A gunner would need to jump with every token to benifit. Unless the gunner just wants to ruin the strat, it's pointless to jump for drugs.

Third, you should be out of gunners range.

It's true, drugs would be of no benefit to a gunner. I'm not sure what the best way to do it is. What about my idea on the first page about letting supply and demand determine drug prices. It would make lab space a little more valuable. It would have a huge impact on the game but it could be kinda cool. I dunno, it didn't get much feedback.

I don't like the idea of a cop though cause whenever you start using random algorythms you increase the chances that someone could get screwed. I like that most things are calculated and people can't accuse the game of screwing them over.

I think the cop thing would be a new thug task, so it wouldn't be random. Not sure exactly what the task would be but yeah.

bit of guilt eh?

there is like 20 - 30 people who use bots in the game, he wasn't specifically saying you, but hey, if you got a heavy conscience, thats your business
