I just had an idea and it's not even banned by Diogee's list of things that arent' gonna happen :P
What about having to qualify for medal rooms. I'm not sure how it would go without everyone having to get premium accounts but if there was some way to know who had what accounts you could say have to record 5 $100 mil games before you could play in a medal room. That would cut out multis cause only people who qualified could get in (unless you slipped the same multi past for 5 rounds). I played in a medal room my first round (and finished top 10) and had fun but it would raise the prestige quite a bit. Just a thought. I'm not sure how exactly it would work on here but Yahoo does it with their fantasy sports.

Pstyle guns the multies to oblivion with his special uber skills.
What about gunners guy, a 100+ mil score is an achievment if your a gunner. So your saying have medal rooms with only a handful of gunners. So then gunners would become pretty much obsolete since most of "us gunners" only or live to gun medal games. Try again bud.

I actually think this is a good idea. I'm sure there could be a way to work around the gunning issue. Most gunners have played worth games and scored over 100 mil.

Agreed. Gunners would merely have to run a couple worth games to get there chance in a medal room. Seems worth the "inconvinience".

It's true, seems like if you're worthy of being in an elite room you should be a good enough player to run multiple strats. 100 million doesn't have to be the number, I just picked a round one. $120 million seems like it would raise the bar nicely.
The downside that occurs to me now is that good players would abandon the public games and there would be no one to teach new people. The other games would become meaningless and people would pry lose interest. Hard to say.

i disagree with that part, good players still will play outside of the medal rooms, cos A.) its easier on the old worth game B.) they have friends outside medal rooms C.) they might like to take noobs out there to train them etc

I think it's a good idea actually - would definitely step everything up a notch.

So, say this idea is implemented today. We'd still have to wait 5 months for anything at all to happen. Is it just me or does something about that not seem quite right?
I like your thinking, but while it may create a game with more prestige I think a game with more competition would be better and to me more competition means more players or forcing them to all play in a single room or just fewer rooms. Sure better players would be nice but it'll be pretty lame when there's so few people nobody wants to be there. Sort of like the warzone games now. We need to let everyone play. If you need a game of supposed prestige wait for the next all-star game. But even those are a big let down.
I think that enticing all the best players and all the best cartels into one room will do a better job of giving the game that little extra you seem to desire. There was nothing like A1 two years ago and longer. When you could hit 100mil and still not even make the top50 for that room. Hell it was fun to spend tokens one day and be in the top20 only to log back in the next day and be down in the 100's before you spent up again. Back then $100k on your score could have meant 5-10 spots in the room. Now it barely does that for all rooms combined
