How would you like to die?

Would you prefer a slow expected death (terminal illness), or a faster unexpected death (car wreck, gunshot).
The obvious advantage of the first is that you can say good bye to those you want to. Do the things you have always wanted to, illness permiting.
And the quick death, while it might be painful at the time, at least it would be fast and a not drawn out.

I remember watching the people jump from the towers on 9/11. And I thought, well I sure in the hell wouldn't jump. But then again I wouldn't want to burn to death either. Someone told me that most likely one would be passed out before impact from a fall that high. But I don't know.....

I don't know if you'd be airborne long enough to pass out if you jumped from 9/11. You'd probably hit terminal velocity, so the impact would make the death painless. However, I'm not sure if it'd be enough to knock you out before impact.

Honestly, I'd rather not know when I will kick the bucket. It'd certainly make my experiences with people contain far less drama and ability for people to fake interest when none was there to begin with.

i am still deciding on my answer. hoping for more feedback.

i am leaning towards a slow death. every second with my kids is precious to me. and if i had 6 months to set them on a decent path in life... i would take that option. however, like tca said, they should already know that i love them and be going in the right direction in life.

I wouldn't prefer a slow and predictable death because then you'd have lots of emotional shit going on until you die.

It comes to a second where people act as if you, as the terminal, is someone who must be satisfied and never made sorry, therefore acting you without sincerity. Fake smiles etc. You know what I'm sayin.

Well in addition a slow death is usually too painful for people. Hospitals, neverending medical operations, tests, pain, whatever. No, it's nothing for me.

I'd like to die when I'm sleeping or extremely drunk.
