I mean come on mow, "Happy thanksgiving" thread, then a "happy thanksgiving gc" thread, also "post your pic" then "post your pic gc", seriously, WTF?

There are all kinds of threads here for the exact same thing that you have started an alianated thread of the same nature.

On the main page when you log in to GC, you get links to threads in the GC section, just like in DW. A lot of GC players don't read the whole forums, and if something isn't in the GC section they will never see it. The majority of these duplicate threads are not an attempt to exclude DW players, rather they are an attempt - generally made by the members of the GC community who participate in the whole forum - to include all the GC players who wouldn't otherwise see the threads.

I don't know why there is such a split in terms of forum participation, possibly its because GC requires a LOT more time to play than DW and DW players therefore have more free time which they spend in the forum. Possibly there is also a different profile in terms of age - broadly speaking - in DW than GC, and the DW players are more interested in the community rather than just focussing on the game.


P.S. if you don't get any other replies from the GC players.....its cos they don't know you're here ;)

Wasn't trying to sound "arrogant" ar anything, just wondering cause all I see is the ticker with 2 identicle threads and I didn't know.

I know about the latest threads thing in DW, wasn't aware that GC had one too.

I was just wondering what was up with the multiple threads af the same type and I got that answered, not that I don't want anyone to post anywhere I was just irritated by seeing the ticker say the same thing on account of GC had to have one too.

I almost said something when I saw the Happy thanksgiving one.


In fact I rated that thread, "not sure what that does" a one because when I seen it, it was followed by the other one for all oddthought members.
