Seriously this guy is taking the piss. He acts like a jerk in-game just to piss people off, ignores fair warnings when given and then acts all innocent when banned. He doesn't try and pursue the matter following the proper channels, but goes and makes multis. Then he acts like the injured party? He knows exactly what he's doing.

tyler...this guys has been running around for the past 3 or 4 days constantly destroying WWII games especially by busting and knowing it was wrong...even if he "returned the favor" he knew that he was just making it worse by being a multi...and the "multis ruin this game" comment was merely to accuse someone else so he wouldnt be seen as the multi, but simply start it in someone else's ear, like a witch hunt kind of deal

The multi accusations are only part of his behaviour...the spamming of which is what got him banned as I understand. Before anyone started calling him a multi he was calling people dumbshits and noobs in every game I saw him in...and not in situations where you might think 'yeah he's right.' With the lack of justification for what he was saying and its repetition I can only think that he was doing it to piss people off. And I wouldn't be too sure that he wasn't also calling people multis at that stage.

Yes, I called him a multi, because he had the same opinions as to how the game should be played as a recent multi-maker, he used the exact same insults as him and in the same unjustified and repetitive manner, and he had several other personal attributes which pushed my belief in coincidence too far.

And he's not exactly taking steps to back down...see the rake of new ones

i love this idea pleb you have to get an email confirmation which gives you your password to join initially then after you use your given pass for the first time you can change it once you are in. meanwhile the mods can check the ip address and see if its a known multi if it is dont send him a password and he cant join it is absolutely genius

IF I was wrong calling him a multi originally then I can understand how it would be annoying. But it does not justify the disruption and aggravation he was causing to everyone BEFORE I ever accused him.

technically, this is the third iteration of Global Conflict, and was called GC3 initially, but for awhile now, it's only referred to as Global Conflict

if the FBI did check out this site, I know nothing about it, but I wouldn't think that would be possible since it's based in Canada. and really, there's nothing to check. even the drug talk wouldn't get anyone in trouble, the FBI isn't interested in a couple of pot smokers. but this all assumes he even contacted them, which I highly doubt

I think we can all take a bit of a lesson here...

His behavior may or may not have been triggered by initial disrespect, but I would agree that he's enjoying the attention. In my opinion multi accusations shouldn't be made public. If you think somebody is a multi report them and let the mods deal with it. Not only does that avoid people feeling immediately disrespected, but the number of times somebody is reported as a multi could actually be an indication to the mods. As it is, it's almost like the mob effect, somebody accuses somebody of being a multi and all of a sudden everybody is saying it and the accused is feeling thoroughly attacked.

I know there's another post from way back when that says this too, but I think it goes hand in hand with what I said above. In addition to not publicly accusing multis, we ought to lay off the noobs. Angry posts on boards do not help, they give the noob a lot negative attention, and with the recent multi problem, lots of those noobs are, i believe, thriving on that attention. We could save ourselves a lot of trouble by simply treating the noobs with some respect (that's not to say we can't poke fun at them like we do each other :p just don't be terribly accusatory). When noobs bust I send them a pm explaining what they did (why everybody else is probably going to jump down their throats), why that was a bad idea, the link to the wiki guide, and an offer to answer any questions they might still have. I probably sent a lot of those to coung these last few days :P but at least they feel more welcome in the community.

Personally I've been very quickly turned off to a lot of games simply from feeling unable to join the community, and while my way of dealing is simply leaving, I can see how some people would feel the need to wreak havoc.
