Intel or AMD processors?

I just ordered (like 2 seconds ago) my Intel c2d e6800 =]

also, if you think there is a third party that should be here, plz opinionate freely.
and this guy states

I dunno..I haven't seen the benchmarks on these cpus yet..Honestly with AMD and Intel its never really been about who is the fastest..I appreciated AMD cause I could get a fairly decent CPU that ran equivalent to Intel at about a 1/3 the cost. For a working guy with a family I can't afford to shell out for an intel CPU for what I could build a whole PC for if I bought AMD.
