need more info.
what ohm voice coils? the volphenhags come in 2o hm dual and 4 ohm dual.Running them off a junk like pyramid i suspect they are the 4 ohm type. Next, what kind of enclosure, ported, sealed or bandpass? Different boxes have different power requirments. Finally, how much money do you intend to spend?

4 ohm coils, sealed box, and the lower price the better but I'll pay for whatever gets the job done.

well if the question was, the amount of travel increase was for a set of cobra jet heads with a 2.200-inch intake/1.76-inch exhaust valves, 7/16 stud roller rockers....i would simply reply:
pushrod lengths need to increase about 0.350 inch on the intake side and 0.600 inch on the exhaust side.:P

lose the pyramid altogather
give it away if you have too
it is a junk amp as steve said
look on ebay
you will need a amp that produce around 2000 watts at 1or 4 ohm as those are you wireing options for dual 4 ohms subs
for price you may wanna look at the http://cgi.ebay.com/MA-AUDIO-HK401SX-HK-401SX-1800-W-MONO-1-2-ohm-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ180071356089QQihZ008QQcategoryZ18797Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Honestly, I LOVE kicker amps (its whats driving my L7 in MY trunk) but in order to run multiple subs at low ohm rates you are looking at a shitload of cash ( as seen by the 900$ price on the one trap listed) Rockfort Fosgate amps are JUNK..id almost rather have a pyramid. ever since they sold out, (what..10 years ago myth?) all there shit has been mainstream crap. i still have a 400a4 from beforehand that i cant kill. nowadays, you surge em once and its roasted.
The Ma amp listed 1st would be fine for your application, as the volphenhags arent really 1000 rms anyways, we were blowing em up around 650-700 when wired in 2 ohm, so for your money, thats my pick.. just make sure if you buy an ma its the HK series.

Thanks for the help there guys, and I don't mean to make your search for the amps seem like a waste of time, but heres the situation.. I bought the subs, amp, and box off a guy from work for $200 even, and I just got an offer from a guy to buy just my subs ( no box or amp) for $200, and I think I have some1 who'll buy the amp for $100. So should I go with that n upgrade everything, or whats the thoughts on that one?

lol
300
get you a nice stereo
if you have
get your self a good set of highs or two decent sets
if you have
get your self a nice wireing kit
may sound a bit funny spending that much on wireing but add in fuses,dit.block,0 gauge, big 3,capacitor,etc
after you get all that buy a nice set of subs or a nice amp what ever trips you trigger but you will still need a bit more then 300 for ethier but as soon as you get one it will be nothing to get the money for the other ;)
if i understood you wrong and what you really ment to say was
you are 16 this is you first car it is a shit brown 81'caprice whith the muffler dragging you are wroking on a real tight budget so the after market jvc casset block stereo whith the factroy speakers that must stay
then i would say holler at you local pawn shop
or better off hit up the local stereo thief who will be on his way to the pawn shop
but then he will know you have bump in the trunk and he will probaly steal your bump next
karma is a son of a bitch

funny you mention that
i had two old school rf punch 250 that were the best amp around in 1995
lol i could not even drive when i bought them
i ended up selling them sometime in 96' and just got them back a few years ago from a guy kept them all this time whith a bit of abuse but they do work and i was amazed
the reason they drop rf to best buy and anyother muck who would sell there newfound junk. stillwater who is the overall owner of rockford and mtx
started focusing on there mtx line. whitch in the last 5 years or so you have notice there efforts.

haha you guys are quite getting me, I'm willing to blow a decent amount of cash on new subs and amp. I was just asking if I should go ahead and get rid of what I have and take the $100 profit. And trust me myth, I'd rather walk than drive a complete beater car. I had a Z24 Cav, but sold that n picked up a Grand Am GT about 6 months ago. So far just put on steel borla catback exhaust (of which isn't dragging on the ground lol) and a few other cosmetic upgrades, getting it repainted next weekend too.

buy kicker....
stay kicker....
Look for good prices....
Right now this is what i have....
Kenwood 909x1 RMS Amp, 2 L7's, Small sealed box.... (getting a custom built one) alpine mp3/wma/dvd player head unit, alpine highs (front and rear) ran off a MTX amp (cheap) sounds great... but i am upgrading the amp to a kicker one when i know what one i want.
I like the kenwood honestly and wouldn't mind keeping it, just not strong enough for the L7's....
