Ok, so I use Cucusoft Pro, I dont know if anyone is famliar with it, but it converts files to a dvd format. Anyway, when i play the burnt dvds on my home theatre system, the video is a bit jumpy, but the audio is fine. Now, I had an idea, that maybe the framerate was off. This is the info that come with the torrent. > AUDiO......[ MP3 48000Hz 128 kb/s CBR (2 chnls)
> ViDEO......[ 1022 kbps XviD 25.000 FPS
so maybe i should change the frame rates? any other ideas why it'd be skipping?

Ok, so Crank was supposed to be played at 25 fps. Did that, turned on autosync for the whole movie, which i didnt have enabled before. So im thinking maybe the sync is throwing it off now, as some of the movies were 23.9760fps in the specs, and that was the default on CuCusoft. the worst is that they played fine on my PC dvd player, but on the theatre is a different story. so im sorta pissed i wasted 14 dvds.

They were torrents that ive had on my comp for a while, and I wanted to free up some space, so i burned them off. To test, i just used the dvd player that was on my notebook, to save time, they play fine on that. When I went to watch a movie with my girlfriend last night, we werent going to sit down with my notebook, so then i used the home theatre system.

Well 25 FPS is PAL format if I remember correctly..This might be why its jumping.

I'm not familiar with Cucusoft Pro so I can't help you with that software directly but I would look to see if in the conversion settings there is a way to force it to NTSC. I was looking at Divx2DVD and it has a TV format setting where I can force it to NTSC. I would look for something similar..
OR you can do a search for Divx2DVD on your favorite file sharing site and try it instead!

I think i may have found a solution. On demonoid forums, someone mentioned using nerovision, when i checked it, it has an option to force the dvd to ntsc, hopefully this works.

Decrpter is fine but all it does is rip the movie to an ISO. If you want to do any re-authoring you should try DVD Santa (which has got to be the dumbest name I have ever heard LOL)

Yes but its main function is to remove DVD encryption..Its not a DVD Authoring program. Don't get me wrong I use the shit out of DVD Decrypter but it won't help with what he needed.
