I've Found A Great Free MMO

It's called Anarchy, it's set in the future so it has alot of Sci-Fi elements in it. Think World of Warcraft in the year 2900 and that's what this is.
MMO's for those that don't know are Mass Multiplayer Online games where you're an inhabitant of a fully functioning world with tens of thousands of other players all around the world. You can head off by yourself and complete missions, join parties of other players to make things easier or just go around hunting down other players, whooping their asses and stealing their shit.
There's alot of customisation in this with 4 races to choose from and about 15 different classes ranging from your basic melee type fighter, doctors (healers), soldiers (long range fighters, use guns, my character's this), assasins and many more.
The graphics are about the same as late playstation graphics and the system requirements are surprisingly low for it. The learning curve for the controls is around 2 hrs(lower for experienced MMOers) but once you get used to everything it flows nicely.
The best thing about this is it's completely free to not only DL but play aswell, every other MMO out there have monthly fees attached to them, not this sucker.
Anyway I recomend this highly, great fun, has kept me up all night (it's 6:30am now) and I'm going straight back to it after this post :)

I played it but it didn't really grab my interest but you can't beat the price..Beware they will BUG you about upgrading to the Premium alot through email when you sign up..

I haven't had one email from them since the welcome email. Anyone who does start playing it tho sign up with the Clans(not Omi-Tek, they're gay) before leaving fr00b (free account n00bs, witty eh?) Island and gimmi a yell, I'll help you get started and boost your stats abit.

You Jedi mind tricks won't work on me..I'm a Ninja LOL seriously the emails aren't that bad and if thats the price for a free game its worth it..Like I said I just didn't get into the story so thats why I stopped playing but I think if people are looking for a low/no cost MMO Anarchy is definitely worth checking out.

Generally I got a lot of mail asking to get upgraded and get the expansions. It wasn't an every day occurrence but it still happened frequently. Not a big annoyance though for a free game.

I used to play a totally free MMO, http://www.planeshift.it/

I played it for a few months, then they reset everything, and I couldn't be assed to start with a fresh character. but it was fun while I did play, and checking out the site they got more features added since then (maybe it's time to give it another try)

But i agree - if your into mmo's - think of AO as an MMO with brains...
