i got the new tenacious d, obviously a rocked-out loser like myself is a big-d fan. although i havent seen the movie (fuck the movie theater) but the Pick of Destiny is a pretty fuckin good cd.

First off i'd like to say to any D fans who haven't heard the new album, it's no where near the grandeur of the self titled, but still a very good cd with some new sounds, but a couple of old riffs. such as the track "History" is basically the same exact thing from one of the HBO episodes except he uses the word "bullshit" instead of "stuff" in the intro. And "Classico" takes riffs from "The Road"

aight the tracks to check out are Kickapoo, Master Exploder, Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown), and The Metal.

Kickapoo is probably the best track on the album, at least its my favorite, it's also a really fun song to play, if you know how to play the guitar i suggest learning it.

Overall, it's worth actually buying. I give it a 7.5 outta 10, it would be a 8.5 but some of the tracks are downright annoying, while others are classic D, you want to sing-a-long, and rock out when you hear them.

If anyone saw the movie, let me know how that was.

I dunno..I think these guys are bit self-pretencious and I wonder if they would get ANY airplay if it wasn't for Jack Black.

wouldn't on my radio station, but everyone has their own preferences.
