View Full Version : 50 Cent Producing Tupac's New Album

"2Pac who's untitled new album, which is stated to be his last released posthumous album is scheduled to be released in the Fall of this year, which marks his 10th year anniversary of his passing and is anticipated to be the best posthumous album to date. But the G-Unit general is not so sure that they can do an exceeding job that he is so promising to put forth if it was released under his direction and denies it will be his last. It's like every pac album that comes out with is his last. "That's just a promotional tactic that the people in charge of his music use for people to pick up his albums and they shouldn't have to go through all that because we all know pac was a workaholic and that there is no way that the last of his material are anywhere near. 50 Cent also said passionately and annoyed, "I feel the people running his material are not necessarily heading his work in the proper direction". 2Pac had an album come out some years ago and they only put out one single out of about an album filled with 30 songs and that single had Nas on it. To me that was the worst thing they could've done. Like why would they put Nas on a pac single and then worse make a video for it also as the lead single. It seems like the people in charge don't even listen to his music. That right there was a turn off to plenty of people. They missed the ball on making more huge hits, gaining more profit, and having his overall legacy be more than what it is. The album had so many potential singles such as "Who Do You Believe In", which relates to me and is probably one of my favorite joints ever. His mother has a center dedicated to him where supposedly all the album proceeds are put into that center, but with the way 2pac is promoted it's like there not really trying to make money. A 2pac album should be going at least 6x platinum a record, but since he has a weak marketing team and people who sit back and choose wrong choices of singles, the center is not making as much proceeds from his album as he should be because his albums aren't doing his real potential numbers."

"If this joint deal was to happen with Amaru/G-Unit I guarantee that 2Pac will have the greatest album to date ever," says Curtis "Interscope" Jackson boldly. "We're trying to be in talks with Amaru now and his estate and hopefully a conclusion of a joint venture can happen and we can make it happen for pac again. Me and Pac rocked the house on tha realists joint and we can do it again if the opportunity is given, where pac and I can team up again and have him linked to G-Unit. I don't see why his mother wouldn't want a joint venture with me. Mark my words, I guarantee an authentic 2pac album. I'll make a better album than All Eyez On Me and Makaveli and this is a guarantee. If Pac is with me on G-Unit I guarantee diamond status on every album because I would put out some of the best music of his life. All his mom needs is a promoter like me to do all the work and she can kick back.""

Also last week on the morning show Miss Jones asked Treach of Naughty By Nature about 50 wanting to sign 2pac's catalogue and that he wanted to be in control because of his quiet releases and lack of promotion. Treach said well it would be something that Afeni would have to approve of, but thinks it's a good idea if it was to go through because he says 50 is a businessman and is a fan of pac. He said it would definitely be a good move.

What's your thoughts on this? :D

50 on crack all eyes on me and makaveli are classsic records to even say he could make anything close is pure blasphemy. if you listen to 50;s song all the music sounds the same and is dry as fuck. i just wish the little wet in the panties 15 year old girls wouls stop buying his shit so he would just go away

i agree with tung :P

but let dre produce it. it cant hurt it. well it will be a huge gain on what 50 can do. his songs suck now. i like most of his old shit better, look at window shopper for instance, all he fucking does is repeat the same shit to a fucked up beat. if he actually rapped and put a decent beat in back to it that reflects his voice and the lyrics he could do something but as it is he is fucked and (hopefully) wont last much longer.

Only let Dre produce IF they really insist to keep fucking with tupacs music, otherwise, just leave him R.I.P like i said before, he's dead and gone, let the legend live on in what he produced and released himself while he was alive

i hate to say this, but all this isn't about tupacs legacy living on, they are looking for $$$$

Yeah I think 50's songs only did well because they had good hooks..However his rhyming isn't all that special..and the whole I'm a real gangsta..kinda played out by now ain't it? I mean step up and tell us something else..

As for Tupac though..I still gotta wonder how much music this 'dead' guy has..Either he's not dead or they found somebody who sounds like 'Pac and is cranking out knockoffs..

To your question he is about 20 to 22 albums....

and yes now they have a similar guy thats just sound like 2pac and the way of his singing but then again they never showed him on TV yet... and in lot of clips.. it shows us that 2pac isnt dead...

so its an 50% chance to say he is dead or still alive :)

true legend .... ive watched almost all of his movies ... and etc... he really did went to rough life... so that made him sing all soft of stuffs.. such as 50 cent .. he does have good songs but not 2 many like 2pac...

50 basically talks about gurls.. or some crew... and thats about it...

i want dre to do the producing and maybe 1 or 2 songs 50 can sing it if the song suits for the album that they are making

it is possible to have that many songs in teh bank. you think about it they put like 13-20 songs an album. he has 20-22 albums so that is 260-440 songs he has made. at like 9 songs a day it would take less then 2 months to get that many songs. give him a week on 9 songs. then you got like a year.

but it is fucked that they wont let him RIP.

9 tracks a day is hard to believe. maybe 9 "rough sketches", but not 9 completed tracks. there's too much production involved with one track let alone nine.
2Pac is the greatest...
