dude..some of us sleep and have a life don't ya know!

First question is are you connected to the router. Just because you can see it doesn't mean its connected, especially if you are using any type of wireless security.

1. Go to Start-Control Panel-Network Connections.
2. You should see a list of network connections
3. Look for one saying Belkin USB or something similar in the description.
4. Does that say connected?

If the answer above is yes I would do is check to see if the machine that won't connect to the internet is getting an IP.

1. at the run line type CMD
2. Now at the prompt type in ipconfig /all
3. There should be a list of network cards here including the USB adapter. Look and see if there is an IP assigned. It will look like 192.168.0.X or something similar.

It may not be a bad idea to just look at the connection settings on the laptop that works to see how its configured.

OK so msn was working when you set it up orginally, it might just be a case of reseting the router, mine does this from time to time and reseting the router and modem solves the problem and is the recommended procedure from ntl my isp
you get ntl in liverpool ?
your gonna have to come to mine and sort it or im gonna have to get a guy in :(

OK Smokie..Here is what he's got..

1 .wireless Router
2. Laptop w/ Wireless NIC
3. Desktop with USB Wireless NIC

Laptop connects to internet fine but Desktop does not..

The MSN starting up is just something you can set it to do when you first log-in it doesn't mean its going to connect..
