As a tribute to Jimi Hendrix, the estate of the late guitar legend, his family, and select former bandmates have united to piss on his grave for a promotional fee with the introduction of “Hendrix Electric Vodka,” an Idaho-made top-shelf liquor.
When asked about the tastefulness of an alcoholic beverage inspired by someone who died of an alcohol-and-drug overdose, an estate spokesman responded, “Are You Experienced? Have you ever experienced a share of the licensing agreement?”

There’s the “Electric Hendrix,” a mix of vodka, Curacao and lime juice; the “Purple Haze,” a combination of vodka, Chambord and pineapple juice, and the “Voodoo,” which blends vodka, Pama liqueur, sweet & sour mix and lime.
Also popular is “Jimi’s Deathmopolitan,” a mixture of two parts vodka, one part Nytol, and a dash of Hendrix’s own preserved vomit.
