Back in 1994-1995 we here is the U.S.A. were waiting for and got the Beatles Antholigy. It was paid for by ABC television. In a rush to get the most peak time viewers ABC told The Beatles to get their act together on re-recording and mixing those John Lennon demo's. In a crunch due to a contract The Beatles only finished Free as a Bird and Real Love. Little known to most people they were also working on a 3 Rd. The name is unknown and often guessed on, but they did lay down tracks from George, Ringo and Paul. Paul announced late last month that the often talked about song was going to be drug out and polished up. A final attempt to make a Beatles song.
John dead, George dead with no way to comment their feelings on going ahead with the track. Paul is seeking the OK from Yoko and Olivia.
There is already talk of a single with yet more Beatles outtakes included.

What are your feelings on this?

Scraping the bottom of the barrel or a wonderful idea?

I enjoyed free as a bird when that was put out. I don't see why they shouldn't put the other out. It's another chance to work together and there is more money to be made.

Now if all of them were dead and they were still putting "new" stuff out like the dead Tupac and Biggie then I'd have an issue with that. At least this way more than half of the original minds are collaborating and can decide whether or not its good enough to stroke their own egos
