im trying to play a DVD through media player 9 on my works comp but get that error

easy solution - stop dossing off at work ;)
what's the error? that it can't find the mpeg2 codec?
mpeg 2 is the standard DVD encoding format IIRC

I would have thought that the mpeg 2 codec would be a standard inclusion for Media Player. You could try installing this http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Stinky_MPEG_2_Codec.htm
If that doesn't work, try downloading VLC Player as an alternative to WMP and see if you have any luck with that.

that never worked pleb, ive got a different error message now though(maybe that did work then but something else cropped up lol)
i'll post the error msg when im back at work and have it in front of me
