Ok we all have had our ideas about new players.
Here is one that sounds simple and effective.
What if when a new player joins a game where there is an attack button, instead of them being able to attack the first time they click it it routs them to the strategy posts or better yet to the orders.
And in the orders screen for each team there is a pre-set order for new players that informs them about how to play or tells them to check the strategy posts before they make a move.

if no one wants busting why not just not allow attackin on certian maps (ie ww2) until a certian cycle has been reached?

even better if your new it won't let you do anything, ie. attack, build...etc without looking at some sort of a walkthrough
sorry tyler but i would bet that 90% or more new ppl don't use the beginner tips button

I got a better idea. How about we just eliminate attacking all together? I mean why not? No one likes busting. I vote that we all just sit in our caps until cycle 4000 then whoever has the most troops, tanks, and jets wins.

Or better yet, how about you guys have an online service that allows registered users to post questions and responses to other posted questions?
Then perhaps a noob could just ask things like, which scenario is the easyest to learn and where to find these "strats" you speek of.
Not that I believe anyone will actually do any of this.
