The Gov is electronic, you can just chip it. spend the money and get a flashable chip, they arent that much.also, take off the intake hose and remove the adaptor/restrictor for a whopping 1.5 hp increase!.

they run about $450-$500 bucks and u have to give them ur VIN# so they can program it, if the car is a automatic this will help it alot. Changes shift points, amount fuel will be increased, probably looking about 25-40 hp gain, better torque, and a few others.

give me about an hour or 2 and i'll work up a price sheet for u with mods and the costs for it.

Nitrous Express Nitrous System
Notes: GM Gemini Twin EFI Dual Nozzle; Nitrous System; 100-300 WHP; w/o Bottle; you can pick up a used bottle for less than a hundred bucks. Also this system is about the most u can use on a 4 cyl. and probably is too extreme for you. So u can get a cheaper system for about $150 less w/bottle.

cold air intake will cost u around $285 and will add 5-10hp

High flow cataylic converters run about $75 dollars and will give u about 20hp + the cost to have the old one removed and new one welded in another $40.

a header will run you about $300

you can also go as far as doing cam work and head work, the heads will give u alot of power with the right valve set up. My heads are done for $250 bucks thats port, polish, and new valves. The honda engine run about $400 so i would say the same for yours...if u do the work yourself.

well im not sure he wants to do that much engine work..but he wants to add an intake and if he can find one a turbo and an intercooler..but he searched for a turbo and not many companies offer turbo's for chevy's.. and i don't think he wants a nitrous system yet but..if he gets one then i'll be usin it ;)

he wants to turbo and stuff i hope u realize what all it takes and how much money it takes to set it up. Yes they don't have man turbo kits for that model but they do have vortech superchargers. You might as well figure on spending about 5k at the least to get the setup on either the turbo or the supercharger and then your going to be putting forced induction on a stock engine (which don't last long) any fab shop can make ur intake, turbo manifold and ur plumbing if he really wants the turbo.

well he wants the most hp and torque that he can possibly get..but superchargers w/o an intercooler tend to melt the pistons..cuz they get to extreme heats

who said anything about not having intercoolers? it's part of a turbo kit, there isn't a point in having one until u get a power adder though. Turbo's tend to pop head gaskets, point is u have to do some work to the engine if you want it to last.
