well last week i go to take pics at the ocean. im way out on rocks and i come acroos this.

now it is a tomb stone, its perfectly placed. now heres the thing that inscription i cant understand. well heres a pic of it to show where it was. rocks dont float. and it would be almost impossible to carry down to were i was.

2 reasons spring to mind for the placing of the headstone

1st the person in question may have drowned in the area
2nd they may have thrown themselves from the cliff above.

Only 2 reasons I can think of why some one placed a headstone in that position

just struck me as totaly odd. somthin that dosent belong. it was kinda worn from the water. so its been threre awhile. i loked up name localy. and she was and alumni for salve regina. a collage in that area. dosent say how she died. but still that thing is haevy. and how do you caryy it if your jumpin from rock to roack.

nope there were no above rocks. none higher than 3ft i mean. its like it was broke threre to. its so set up lookin.

how high does the tide come in there? Could it have been floated into place on a raft or something? Maybe it was set there on cement but the cement has long since eroded and the stone has sagged and cracked?
