Ok you muppets, I need some London advice. If all goes as planned, I'll be there June 30th and July 1st (Fri & Sat). So like, what should I go see in those two days? I am not into arts or culture, so no art museums or theaters please. Also what airport is the easiest to get to: Luton, Gatwick, or Stansted? How would you go about getting there (rail, taxi or bus)? Any money-saving tips?
Also I need pub suggestions, and if you wanna meet up, I'd be willing to get everyone a round of drinks
Hundav promised to pick up the rest of the tab

I'll be flying from Amsterdam actually (another thread coming up ), so all those three airports are an option for me. Heathrow is the one I'll be flying back to the States from.
Can't wait for the drinking tour to commence

Get yourself a London A-Z book and get around via the underground, by far the easiest way .. or you could just book one of the forum Londoners for the weekend to be your guide.
You have said what you don't want to do but not said what sort of things do interest you apart from the drinking lol.

Just one forum Londoner as a guide? I wanna book them all at once
I just mentioned the things I am not interested in seeing, as everything that doesn't fall under that category I certainly am interested in.
So where do I book an audience with the Queen?

You can take a ride on the London Eye: http://www.londoneye.com/
Visit the Tower of London: http://www.toweroflondontour.com/
and the London Dungeon: http://www.thedungeons.co.uk/
Do a spot of shopping in Carnaby Street: http://www.carnaby.co.uk/ or Camden: http://www.camdenlockmarket.com/flash_main.htm
Watch the guards change at Buckingham Palace: http://www.tourist-information-uk.com/buckingham-palace.htm (If you tell them who you are I am sure you get grab afternoon tea with the queen! )
You can top all that off with some jellied eels down the East End

I thought Heathrow was the easiest to get to, I think it has a tube station so you can get right into the centre easily, but I could be wrong.
Go to a Soho sex shop and buy porn and then wander round the streets and watch the street artists and performers, then try out your cockney rhyming slang on the locals then go and see the rest of England cos it's much prettier.

Geeza... if your in the area, let me know. Soho is the only place you need to know in terms of bars/clubs/strip clubs/hookers/drugs/
But for the sightseeing stuff, She Cat's post was quite usefull... although if your going shopping, Kings Road in Chelsea is by far the best.
As Jacx said, holla at us and we will be your guides

The Queen will then be one of our drinking tour stops. Its an offer she can't refuse, not when me, Jacx, Uganja and the rest of oddthought gang barge in
Thanks for the links Denise, I will give them a thorough read later on.
What would you guys say is the one must-see London place?
Here's my airport situation. I'll be flying from Amsterdam via Easyjet (thanks for the link kiz), and I could arrive to either Luton or Stansted for 31 euros, or to Gatwick for 38. Under these conditions which one is the better choice?

There's a little heard of City North of London called Scotland (many Americans are Scotch BTW) in that city there is a suburb called Edinburg - the best place to drink in England.

1 of my favourite spots is the bar at the Royal festival Hall on the southbank arts complex its right on the river and a perfect place for sundown drinks if the weather is hot and u can see all the old bridges and buildings from there. near waterloo station or a footbridge across the river from (cockneys help me out here) Charing cross or blackfriars station.

I want to head to canada, italy, greece, finland, australia, new zealand, fiji and tahiti. I have a friend in canada...so that's taken care of. Anybody been to any of the other countries? My girlfriend loves art, so we need to check out art museums, and we're both active people, so scuba diving snowboarding snorkeling and surfing are things we like to do too. Any suggestions from people that have been to or live in these places?

Cali started to help me with this the other day but my net got cut off so I am throwing this out to anybody that can help me.
Ed and I are thinking about going to Tornoto. He really wants to see the Lord of the Rings stage show and its only in Toronto. We would fly out on a Friday and return on a Sunday. Suggestions of where to stay (www.torontotourism.com has packages but we want opinions) and what is the cheapest way to fly (I don't like commair, part of delta, that is a scary ass airline!)
Suggestions and help if you will ;)
