i agree with steff - to quote one of the all time great footbal managers

"football isnt a matter of life or death.........its far more important than that!"

never a truer word spoken ;)

oh i cant see past brasil or argentina for the win either, although tradition says south american teams dont do well at european tornaments so on that basis i'll stick Holland into the mix aswell

Brazil and England in the final this year. England to win.

I have a feeling Italy may not progress past the group stages.

Edit.... : changed my mind! Germany V England in final.... England to win.

Ukraine might well cause the kind of sensation that Greece made two years ago.
The first two times Ukraine failed to qualify we lost in playoffs to teams that went on to win medals. This time we knocked out last cup's bronze medalists (Turkey), and Euro champs Greeks on our way to the world cup. We've also got Europe's (if not world's) best (and most expensive) scorer on our team.
But most importantly I'll be there to support them in Germany :alcohol:

I'll be rooting for America in the Death Group but I really think it's a crap shoot (minus Ghana). I really do not believe you can favor either of the 3 to def go through. Each will get one win against Ghana. Then I could see it being a 2-1, 3 way tie.

Question for FIFA people, how do tie-breakers go? Goals For? Margin of victory or what? TIA for that.

Brazil for the win, not arsed about england.

I was on the lash near old trafford on saturday anf it showed why i hate the england internationals. Its basically when people that know fuck all about football suddenly think they are andy gray withought the first bit of knowledge for the beautiful game. I nearly kicked off as someones opinion plus my larger fueled state, they came out with some obsurd statement to which i didnt take to kindly that just showed a complete lack of understanding for football:no3:

Fuck the fa and fuck no all england fans:Shutit:
