Reputation lost again!

Its been pointed out to me that everyone lost their rep again.

I thought i had said it was to be left alone, but for some reason its been reset once again.

So i appologise to you all for that, hopefully it will not become a issue again!

Just get rid of rep completely. It's meaningless anyway... It would be fine if it was used the way it's meant to be, rather than people giving out to anyone that asks for it just to look e-cool.

It was meaningless before I did anything and it will be meaningless after. Even if people only repped "the most intelligent and most funny" (which would never happen.. what do you think this is... harvard?) it still wouldn't mean anything. WHY?? becuase little green dots, numbers, and other peoples comments about you do not make you who you are.

It's called being silly and having fun. damnit.

i dont think i want to play this rep game any more....but it was fun...for a while....im still a n00b but i do have some good friends i met on the forums. that i may never have know about or them know about me....and thats the way it should be..all n00bs that come here get hazed..yes i did and i bitched back...im not a pushover.....i miss all the fun..now we cant call each other names without gettin in trouble....and i dont have any thing to ask...about.....like i had no clue what a twat was..so i asked....but now no name calling.....the only time it would hurt is if the person that was called the name was .insecure and dont have a real life...i know im off the topic but its all apart of the way i feel about rep.....does it make us a better person or better player? no....does it make some feel good yes....can anyone get rep? yes...do they always just get it from peeps who know them? no..most of the rep i get i have no clue who sent it...not all of it is signed.....so who really is it hurting to rep who ever when ever?

I just want you to know, that even before I seen your post.. we've been addressing some of these issues in our staff section today.

Honestly, what is the point of rep?
I think it should just be eliminated anyway.

Why distinguish or divide people into classes or groups of so called praise or despise?
Why would or should anyone care what anyone else thinks of what is said?
It's not like were competing for prizes.

If you like someone or there posts, add them to your buddy list, simple as that.

My gosh, way too many people MUST have no life that rep is so important lol.

I like the rep thing, I give rep out to people for what I see as rather good posts, whether thats a sensible or enlightening post, making me laugh really hard, I don't reserve it for friends, I have given good Rep to Reds & Mods. :eek: :cheeky:

I don't give out a lot of rep but it's mostly good rep, reserving neg rep for complete muppets who's ranting makes little sense or contradicts themselves.

Oh forgot to say, I've been really suprised at some of the good rep that I've received in the past, sometimes it's the rep you receive from unexpected sources that's the best.
