So today I played 4 games, and ended up on the final table of each one!

*on the 2000 entry one, I won 8th place so I won 5200 chips

*on the 250 entry I won first place and won 7200 chips :party:

*on the poker after dark I came in 2nd place but didnt win anything since only 1st place wins.

*on the other 250 I won 3rd place and won 3100 chips :hehe:

The shitty thing is I already had to transfer funds like that before to my old site. holdempoker.com i think. Now part of partypoker or something. I had to use another currency and make special accounts to fund it. But they still messaged me an apology saying i could withdraw funds but no more deposits and no more cash games

I actually believe real money would be a better game.... I doubt you have all those freaks who go "All in" constantly before the flop lol

I know as the play chip entry fees progress, the players are better in my opinion... such as the 250 games , they are somewhat like the freerolls where they go all in alot until later in the game... then the 2000 games are better, and the 10,000 are alot better. So I imagine real money would be even better. :nods:

I had a few £'s excess in bet365.com sportsbook so I transferred a tenner to poker and have been playing. I'm slightly in profit. I tend to lose as the stakes get higher. :P Playing $0.20/$0.50 is fine. Any higher and the players are just too good/lucky.

edit: just lost a $20 pot on the river... it's a fucking joke. You have no idea how often this is happening

Even though I finished 9th, I was knocked out on the same hand as the guy who is 8th. There must be some poker rule as to why I was ranked lower than him though. I was about 4th on chips and had a pretty strong hand at one point. I went all-in and the guy called. He had nothing... until the last card was drawn. :( I was down to 700 chips after that and the blinds were at 1500/3000, but I got back up to 8000! I had to be a bit aggressive and it didn't pay off in the end. I'm happy with that though.

I played a 2nd tournament during that tournament. First hand I get QQ and someone goes all in. I called him and he had AA. No Q's appeared on the flop, turn or river so I lost my chips on the first hand lol.

:D believe it or not it came down to me and heavypetting with me having 7k+ chips... then he won like 19 out of 20 hands and won the tourney. Either I really suck when it comes to head to head or he was very lucky. Although playing a few more games... I think it's me sucking at head to head. I guess I just need to play more to get used to it.

I entered a $10 tourney with 6 players. Top 3 get $20 each. All I did was play conservatively and I got third place (kinda) - we all raised since we were guarenteed the $20 and I lost. I wouldn't have raised otherwise. Things could get bad for me... I'm not exactly great at poker... but I can see how people get addicted. I think I've spent about £30 in the past 2 days.

Well since I completely fucking suck (still only on the river), even playing aggressively to knock people out but they hang on with crap and win on the river, I decided to watch some players. I watched a high stakes game. One guy had just over $10k and the other just over $20k. I watched for a while then left with them both having about the same value. An hour later I return and the $10k guy still has $10k but the next hand this happened...

If anyone still plays on FTP... you have got to try the FR superturbo 300 chip SNG @ $3.50+$0.30. The variance is very lol. You have two options really; push or fold so people get it in with trash and win. I actually went from 2300:400 chips to bust in 3 hands with me being the pf favourite on all 3 hands.
