Hmmm need a new car

Hmmm... i got up to 5k to spend on a car, first I was looking at a GSX or GST but foudn nothing in my area... then i took a look at Audi A4's mostly just stock ones but I really want a turbo and willing to pay the insurance so i looked for 1.8T but found nothign that interested me in both performance and mileage wise, finally I looked at a catalog and got interested in WRX's.... but of course i need to come up with another 10k so i don't have that.. then i saw some that was for 10k and that's all i can afford .. even though there was decent ones for 15,000 and tha'ts outta my range so what would you suggest that is quick and good on miles?

the 1.8T has alot of lag, unless you plan on messing with the ECU i would stray away from it, and go with the V-dub, it is cheaper but its exactly the same

I had one talk so much shit to a couple of us a few months back, said he could take any domestic car from a dig. After 2 hrs of hearing this jackass run his mouth I told him I'd run him. I go turn my bottle heater on and let him know we can do it in about 5 minutes, he said ok. 5 minutes later were ready to roll out to the spot and he says he can't do it from a dig. I agree to a 35mph roll and he then says I can't run the bottle(H) So I give him 4 car lengths and the hit. By the time I hit 3rd gear I reeled him in and gave him the finger as I started pulling ahead by bus lengths going into 4th. Just don't be one of those people, because there is always someone faster:cheeky:


Go for cams, intake, bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump. Then throw you a good turbo with about 25psi.

Haha, Nah. It was my buddy but I'm not bragging because I know my car isn't that fast. I just knew off the line I have no chance against 4 wheel drive unless he's a really shitty driver but I'm getting underdrive pulleys 3 in exhaust next week and hopefully a chip and intercooler in the next few weeks after 2 paychecks.=\
